I have received NUMEROUS fax calls from this number to my cell phone. It is an outrage.

This is a fax service. It can be any company that uses the service, but the number shows up as the service at Protus. I thought they were spam calls until I compared my faxes received with the times of the calls and found out the faxes are through a supplier we work with. If I had blocked them we would not have been able to communicate with our supplier. If you are getting repeat calls it is because they are automated to keep sending the fax until it is received and so if your number is not a fax it will just keep calling over and over. I do not know how to reach the originating company, maybe someone else can research that part as I have been working on this too long and have to get back to work.

received three calls in a row. only left a beeping sound on my VM. really annoying!!

The number belongs to www.protus.com.

I received 3 calls this morning and when I answered it was just beeping

I believe this is from fax machine using the NextGen EHR system...

Caller phones and noises sound like a fax machine, received 4 phone calls so far, I'm certain that this won't be the last of it.

Just received 3 calls in a row from this number- 1st went to answering machine- just clicking noise. Next call was 2 min. later, when I answered just same clicking noise.  3rd. same as first.  Very annoying

My wife in Louisville Kentucky received 4 calls from this number and 248-3731. When I tried to call back it said both were not assigned.
what the hell is going on here?????????
