I reported them to FCC. If you go online and just fill the information they will take it from there. Every time I have had to do this the calls stop within just a couple days.

I received 2 calls in a row from them this morning!   Called from 613-248-3733 and 613-248-3734 7 minutes apart.  I didn't answer and they didn't leave a voicemail.

It's Downes and Reader Hardware, emailing specials to clients.  If they are faxing you, you are on their fax list.

continue to get fax calls from Canada, the first Monday of every month.  have blocked both #'s. therefore, it only rings once.  still quite annoying.  some posts say these #'s belong to YOW Canada.  they say its not their number.  recept answered in a cordial manner, but by the end of the call became rather rude....??  will be contacting our state's attorney general  to report.

We received a call this morning at 9 am pst and they left beeps as a message. Sounds like a fax ..they called twice

This number just try to fax to my cell phone.  Was a able to conference in my fax number to receive the fax.

i hooked my computer up for the fax. on it was a number to call to be removed. i called it and left my number to be removed. i swear it has called more often. here's the info from the fax. i called them and got the run-a-round. feel free to call these a***oles to complain...

I am in Australia and also receiving this call on my landline.  It is coming from a fax machine as it just beeps in my ear.

nuisance fax call

Started yesterday and now it's started again.

I have been receiving repeated calls every day or two from this number over the past week or so.  Through Telus, my home phone service provider, I have a "Call Screen" feature that allows me to block up to 12 numbers.  Unfortunately, this particular telephone number is incompatible with the Telus "Call Screen" feature and cannot be programmed into my "Call Screen" list.

I consulted with Telus customer service and have been advised the ONLY mechanism to use with harassing calls such as these is another feature called "Call Trace".  Here is the relevant information from the Telus web site:

"Call Trace" provides legal evidence of threatening, harassing or obscene phone calls by activating an immediate trace of the last incoming call.  TELUS Security records the caller's number, the customer's number (the line on which Call Trace was activated), and the time and date of the call.
Call Trace information is released to the police only. You will not be advised of the caller's number.
Call Trace is already active on TELUS phone lines in most areas.

Call trace is initiated on Telus by hanging up on the harassing caller and immediately dialing *57.  According to Telus, 3 call traces for the same number is sufficient to AUTOMATICALLY launch a police investigation.

Most phone companies (including Bell) should offer a this (or similar) "Call Trace" service.  Since the fax machine automatically redials 3 times if it fails to connect to a fax machine, it should only take a day or two to launch a police investigation into these harassing calls.

I submit that, if everyone receiving these harassing fax spam calls initiated police investigations through this "Call Trace" feature, whoever is making these calls would be dealt with very quickly and the harassing calls would soon be permanently stopped (at least from this source).

Spam spam please, be careful to this stupid people, they have nothing else to do but try to steal anything if possible from other people! So do got give any of your info to them! I block them all!!$

If someone can help to get this caller stopped, please do so. Yes, it is VERY annoying - weeks of call EVERY morning!!!

I then emailed the Police Department directly, info@ottawapolice.ca.  If we all do that, with any info we've found, it may help. I've also sent a fax to that number telling them to remove my number from the list. I hope this is helpful. Have a great holiday weekend!
