I am awake at 4 am because I just received 2 CALLS IN A ROW!!!!  Scared the crap out of me thinking a loved one was in the hospital an pick it up and hear beep beep beep! I'm researching this further at a decent hour

Call the second number and the have an option to remove your number

I still am getting these stupid calls, 3 times this morning! Super annoyed, like I don't get enough of these b.s. calls every single day!!

I tried contacting these folks direct and they do not have our number in there system, yet I received phone calls every 5 minutes from these folks.

Any one still get calls from this number      (613) 249-3900  ???

Understanding you are frustrated with these calls.  We are also as it is our reputation and company name that is at stake here.  If you would be so kind as to go back to Louise Rubletz' post of April 26th, please be assured that it is a legitimate note and sincere in nature.  This is the only option that we have been given and we have been working very hard to get the situation remedied for you all and for us (you cannot imagine the calls we are getting in addtion to posts like these....so if we could ask you as in Louise's post before:

First off, I would like to apologize to everyone who is receiving these calls. My name is Louise Rubletz and I am the Program Manager of the CME SMART Program.  

These faxes are coming from J2 Global in Ottawa - 1-888-733-0000.  

I would like to assure you that we are NOT the company who is sending this fax.  For the past several weeks, we have been investigating this issue with the company who is sending this out. We believe that there is a glitch in their system and have them looking into this.  We have also logged a complaint with CRTC.  

The company that is sending this is J2 Global otherwise known as protus.com or myfax.com.  They are are fax service company located in Ottawa Ontario.  

Please do one of two things:  call CRTC to log a complaint at 1-877-249-2782 (prompt 3) or call J2 Global directly at 1-888-733-0000.  You will need to have the date and time of the call(s).

I hope this helps you out that J2 Global can rectify this issue as soon as possible.

A call center. Hmm, sounds like two wrongs combining to make a right.

I've tried all of the methods mentioned to get on the do not call list. When I input my number, from the US, they tell me they don't do US numbers. I called the CRTC and when I try to put my zip code and nation in their complaint form, it auto fills with Canada and says my zip code is in error. I can't get it to keep the United States in t he nation box.

Any of you have FIOS?  I'd recommend blocking the number.  You can add up to 10 numbers to block.  I've been receiving these calls for months, 2 of them in the last day.

Called office on 4th line.  I answered and got fax tone in my ear.  From now on, w/be picked up and immediately hung up.  (Unfortunately I do not have the option of letting it go to VM.)

This number is calling my fax number every 15 - 20 minutes.  I live in the USA in New England.  I am on the Do Not Call registry.  they go to vmail and leave nothing. Not funny.

I am recieving 6 - 10 calls a day from this number, this is a landline not a fax line.

I too called the J2 number, pressed 4 and entered in my phone number.  The recording said they would stop calling.

Fax machine keeps calling

The problem with trying to contact these scumbags is that the number they are faxing from is not a real number or not an active one.  Also, when you call their phone number - IF they have one - they are so rude when you tell them to take your number off their list.  The ones who do have real contact info and are rude (most all of them) get several calls from me, asking for their fax and when they say they don't have one, I tell them the company they use to fax is a bunch of scammers and so are they for using their service.  And don't bother trying to get removed by their "removal" number - it will just put you on more lists.  
Any time I can call these companies direct, I do it.  Lots of times a day.  When they tell me they have no fax, I also ask why - so they can't get all the annoying scam faxes like the ones they send out?!  I get hung up on a LOT but it's fun :)

These sons of bi****s call all day and all night. I have a home office and DID have a fax machine. These people have cost me so much in ink, I disconnected it. Now they seem intent on destroying my health as well.

I called both of the numbers provided in your message...I get a recording that they cannot be reached from my area (Chicago).

I am beyond frustration and am contacting my attorney.

This is a fax number for egumball "your official local listing partner of google maps and yahoo local directories". They called originally on 503-457-1062 caller id Skip Tel. Husband asked for additional info and they faxed an application. Setup fees, monthly fees. wanted $339. to start. No thanks!

Called in the AM, and I didn't answer it.
Then they called again exactly 5 minutes later with FAX tones.

I switched to a VOIP company called "PhonePower" and can block them after they call.

I have been dealing with incoming telemarketing faxes for years and this company offers a BLOCKING service (for no extra charge) that once a number is blocked on your list, they can't get through.

I think they allow up to 50 blocked numbers as well.

Good company and a lot cheaper than what my landline ever was.

Wake up everybody!  Don't trust it!

Don't ever never call backto any of #s . I f you call them, you just proving that your  # is working & you're like saying welcome to receive more fax.

Actually it's May28,2012 now. I still receive these fax from this #.

I have the ability to transfer calls to a fax machine.
The Fax is from Express Scripts Canada 1-866-528-7776
However when you call, of course its a voice mail.
I left a message asking them to call me on my phone.
I'll give them a chance to call me and fix this before I approach the CRTC.

Irritating to recieve junk faxes when I'm soooo busy with real life!

Calls 4 times a day with incoming fax noises....NOT A FAX MACHINE

These a***oles called me 3 times today. Someone's gonna get an earful when I find out who it is.
On a business call and they called back to back over 5 minutes.

Nothing like getting that lovely sound in my ear.  As I was getting these calls on my cell phone.

It is calling us every 10 minutes.  Thank you for the information.

This number with fax tone at the other end keeps calling the office.

The previous posts left the # 1-888-733-0000. Option 4 lets you put in your number to be added to their do not call list. I did that.

I Also called back and left a rather nasty message in their general mailbox. Just press "0".

If enough of us do this, we can at least aggrivate the person that needs to clear the mailbox.

Any maybe they will miss important business if we all clog up the mailbox.
