My parents got a call from this number recently.  She just got her Bell phone bill and guess what they billed her as if she made the call.  She only answered the phone because we have sick family living in that area code.  She called Bell to straighten it out & have it remove and they won't.  They told her the call was made from her house so she has to pay it.  The call was about political support.
I'm angry about this mess.  My father is disabled due to birth defects that are progressively getting worse. My mom works her butt off to stretch their pennies so they can eat most times...which the government takes part of.  Now the idiots are causing them to have to pay for phone charges "they" have made.
Check your phone bills if you got a call from this number & do not pay it if they bill you for it.

Just got a call from 6136679148 asking for donation to pass the anti-crime bill. This guy told me that he was calling on behalf of Harper. I told him never to call me back again with this issue as I do not support the anti-crime bill and the fact that you don't need money to raise "awareness" as this guy has put it.

This number calls my home at least twice per day.  I feel that I am being harassed. They never leave a message, just hang up before the answering machine answers.

I just send an e-mail to the Conservative Party via their website.  I encourage others to do the same.

Yes - It's the Conservative Party of Canada asking for money. They have been consistently calling me for months. Seven times in the lasy 2 weeks, as late as 9:20pm at night.

I tried to make an official complaint, oonly to be told that Political Parties are EXEMPT!!!!! from the Laws of Telemarketeers!!! So much for the "no-one is beyond the Law" philosophy.

Well - I've always voted for them but the only way that I can tell them how I feel about this nonsense is at the poling station and if they keep calling, I might just do that.

And I thought the US Policical System was messed up. I guess that we are not too different in Canada if the Party in power has to depend upon donations.

I have received several calls from this number in the last few days.

I just got the call and answered it...  It was a representative of the PC and Stephen Harper..  I told them if they called 1 more time we would never ever think of supporting him... We would vote for anyone but...

Just got a call from this number, I didn't pick up, nor did they leave a message.  Typical political party cold call, afraid you won't ever call them back if they leave a message.  They don't want to give you the opportunity to say no.  There's nothing illegal in what they're doing, it's just that they're very annoying without leaving messages.  
If you want peace and quiet, turn your telephone ringer off.  Crank up the volume on your answering machine, then decide whether you'll pick up.   A pain in the a*** I know and not exactly convenient but it's an option.
If you have the option to talk to these people, do so, then try asking them to take your number off their calling list.

We should start calling them, asking for their home phone numbers, then start harassing them at dinner time.  That's perfectly fair in my opinion considering how rude and obnoxious some of these political calling reps. are.

I have just received a call from 613-667-9148...contrary to your assertion that if they called us it means we must have contributed to the PC party ....we have never, ever had a relationship with the PC party, nor are we contemplating having a relationship in the near future...and why are they calling in january 2012 .They still have 3 years left to reign...Yes?

We keep getting a call from this number, I do not unstand the person, hang up once, keeping calling, I put it on block caller, keeps calling, this is going on for months. Completly feed up this number calling steady two or three or more each day.

I also received a call from this number.  Missed the company name, but claimed to be from the Harper Gov't. Looking for donations to help toughen up penalties for serious crime. I told him to p****off. Suspected a scam but I would give Harper another nickle. They already get 50% of what i make.

They have been calling me for the last 3 weeks an approxamently 3 to 9 times a day.. i never answered, cause they seem to like my fax no: So in sweet words BUG OFF...... If you can"t take a hint,PLEASE TELL ME YOUR NAME AN ADDRESS AN MAYBE JUST MAYBE I'LL TAKE A RIDE,???????????????????????
