Under the law there activities are legal. Anyone in the US can open a university. There is more than 3000 universities in this country. You pay and take the course and they give you a certification. Now it the responsibility of everyone enrolling to check if the program offered is accredited by the state you live in. If you did not too bad for you and you cannot even sue them. You are only left with a piece of paper employer will probably will not recognize.

OMG, Hi everyone first I would like to say thank you sooo much for all your posts. I recently started getting emails from a so called "recruiter" who states she saw my email via web. Then started emailing me and stating how interested they are in hiring me. Thankfully I caught them early, and suspected something weird was going on.  This person whom I had sent my resume just the other day had asked for an "updated" resume. That did it for me. I looked up "Cereprotec" Co. and found this site! Thanks for all your honesty guys and chicas!   P.S. don't lose hope cause of these creeps!

Hi,
Yes I heard from Pharmaleaf too and Cerebrotec. they both offerred me jobs if I took their course through Kriger Research, Then I could not get through to them when I called about the jobs. the voicemail was always full. The clerk who worked for Cerebrotec and keriger Reseach ended up being the same person! Espoirbridge was also conneted too somehow.

I noticed something strange was going on when I received VERY similar emails from both Kriger and EspoirBridge.  The funny thing was, I applied to the job through EspoirBridge first, then I got to looking around for CRA certification courses and found Kriger.  Even without receiving recommendations from either company, I knew they were related by the way you are asked to verify your email address.  I started to investigate and found this wonderful thread!  Phew!  Thank goodness I didn't have enough money to register for the CRA course, yet!  Thanks to everyone for your comments!

Like most of you guys, I always get emails from EspoirBridge and an email from Cereprotec.  I was told to contact the number provided in the email, but the voicebox was always full.  In short, it was just a waste of time trying to call that number.

I have been thinking of registering online for the Kriger CRA certification course, but I have serious doubts if it can help me secure a CRA position in a clinic, hospital, or pharmaceutical company.  It's true that "testimonials" can be found on its website and on this blog as well, but still, those do not prove anything.  Since Kriger is operating a BUSINESS that sells certification programs, one should be wary of such claims.

I have repeatedly asked EspoirBridge about how I can successfully land a job as a CRA, and all their representatives can say is that I should take the certification course offered by Kriger Institute.  RED FLAG THERE!

It seems to me that EspoirBridge, Cereprotec, and Kriger work in a such a way as to entice those who'd like to enter this so-called lucrative industry to take the online course offered by Kriger, which keeps on emailing me with a promotional code to slice USD 780 off the actual online registration free.  It's 100% propaganda, let alone a SCAM.

The best way is to contact employers directly and ask them if they would accept such online certification programs, such as the one offered by Kriger Institute.  For those here who say that they have taken the program and have successfully landed a job somewhere, give us a fool-proof way to verify your claim.  That's all I can say for now!

Shame on this organization.  I have received the same emails and promises, after reading these notes, I anticipate that I will get a pumped up email only to dumped later.  Does anyone have any suggestions how/where to find clinical research jobs?

Cereprotec now has an office address and a copy of a patent application on its website. Google does show an office block at that address so no comment on its veracity but there is no trace of the patent filed at the US Patent & Trademark Office. The law firm exists and has filed many patent applications but this isn't among them. The title is fishy too; I can't find any indication that glycolurils have been used in biological research let alone developed as potential medication.

I also checked out some of the companies listed on the Kriger website; all of the ones I looked at do their own recruiting. Neither could I find any sign of accreditation for education/training that is recognised by the US or Canada.

Are we living in a society now that people think they take a course and a job should be handed to them instantly?? I have gone through many areas/industries and the world does not work like this. Stop thinking you should be handed something and dig your way in, learn what you need to learn the rest is upto you.

It's very clear that EspoirBridge is a SCAM.  The scam starts with a phony job posting for a clinical research position.  Once the scam artists receive your resume, you are then immediately being solicited to sign up for an incredibly expensive "training and certification program" in clinical research (with the implication that a well-paid job is waiting for you).  This so-called certification program is not recognized anywhere within the clinical research industry and is completely worthless.

The KRC International website claims to have US business offices in many states, including in Seattle, WA.  In the US, in order for any corporate entity to do business in a state, each state requires a registration process, and such registration information is a matter of public record.  The State of Washington is no exception in that regard.  Neither Krieger International, nor Kriger Research Center Inc., nor KRC Inc. have any sort of registration with the State of Washington.

Furthermore, EspoirBridge, Kriger and Cereprotec websites have all been registered in less than two years by the same administrator. In other words, the so-called HR recruiter, the so-called professional certification provider, and the so-called biotech company where research is taking place and where your "future job" is waiting for you, are all concoctions from the same scam artists' imagination.

The worst part of these scams, aside from costing job seekers potentially thousands of dollars they can ill-afford to spend, is wasting job seekers' time while preying on their desire for a well-paying job and vulnerable emotional state.

I have an email stating that this company Cereprotec is in Chicago, but I do believe that 613/686 5745 is a Canadian telephone number.  Can you tell me if this is a legitimate company and where they are located.

Thank you very much you guys.  Like all of your comments I also received a ton of e-mail regarding job position in my hometown seeking for CRA with a least 6 months experience.  I found about you guys by searching cereprotec website.  They also ask me to call for an interview but I didn't loose my time since you all warm me.  They now have a new scam company call Pharmalef.  The website looks legitimate. Ìf someone knows of a company call Pahrmalef please let us know.

Many thanks to all of you for taking the time to post your comments regarding this obvious SCAM.  I too have been contacted repeatedly by EspoirBridge with job postings; and I have interviewed with both Cereprotec and Pharmalef, thus with no avail.  Eventually, I was referred to take the training from Kriger with the assistance of a scholarship that left me with a balance of $1500.00 to pay out-of-pocket.  Then I began to really think.....NO WAY.  Yes, I totally agree....we need to report them for running a SCAM from Canada on American citizens.

Thank you folks! keep this thread going. Like most of you I also, called the Cereprotec phone number and got no response. This is all a scam to get the Krieger company to make money. I am a recent Graduate from York University, Toronto, and no way in hell can you get a job offer right away without the initial grind. Stay away from EspoirBridge, Kreiger and cereprotec. They are simply bad news. I am calling my local news companies to bring an end to this scam.

This certificate is not essential to have a CRA job. Big compagnies will offer this kind of traning. I never had this certificate and I am in the interview process to apply for a job. They never asked me if I have the certificate.
Cereprotec, Pharmalef, espoirbridge and Kriger are pushing to let us take the certificate. What a shame. When you call pharmalef it's a general answering machine (Tel/fax). I sent a big E-mail to Espoirbridge to let them answering about all this Sh... but I never received any.
I asked to stop sending their reference code because I don't need it. But with their electronic system, they can't stop. I don't know if their is humans behind this company. Strange .....

This company has been calling me to sign up for their certification and says that they have jobs they will give out to those certified by their company. Is this true? are they registered with the BBB? what about clinqua clinical trials inc in san diego? does anyone have information on them? they are not registered with the BBB either.

hey you guys,
there is a supposed company in san diego called clinqua clinical trials. when you call, the "manager" tells you that he has positions for those signed up for the certificate. however, i called BBB and this "huge" company is not listed, neither is kriger or espoirbridge. Also, i knew it was fishy because i called up random pharm companies and none of them recognize this certificate. i really dont know what to do myself, because 1500 is alot for someone who does not work.

Guys,

I am heartbroken,So this Espoirbridge, kriger thing is a huge scam.No doubt I applied to a lot of companies, but i didn't get a single call from anyone and I paid $1300 for the course. And now I think about it this Cliniqa thing is a big scam too.I was sent an e-mail saying that there as a immediate need for clinical research people and I kept calling the San Dieago number like a fool over and over again but nothing.

What do I do now,all my hopes crashed.I dont know what to do.
Where do I go from here.

I am so grateful to have found this thread as I was contemplating a course with them but finding that they seemed to have an "uncanny connection" with each other.  This was most evident when I submitted an application to Kriger for a scholarship and within seconds an email "magically" appeared in my inbox from EspoirBridge before I even received the automatic confirmation from Kriger.  Bear in mind that I had not mentioned EspoirBridge in my scholarsip application at any point!!!  Very interesting!

Also I do have a certification and some limited research experience but the letter was written as though it were a form letter and reiterated comments about how I had "no experience."   Smells very funny---

WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE???  Yes, I'm out of work and have been applying everywhere and I started getting e-mails from EspoirBridge Recruiters.

The FIRST TIME I saw them trying to refer me, with their courteous discount, I knew this was a scam.  How?  SIMPLE.  What they were doing was blatantly unethical.  I can't believe anyone sent hundreds or thousands of dollars to these people when a little common sense and research would have proven they were scammers.  the only reason they exist is because people are stupid enough to fall for it.  Simple rule everyone is told and should know.  YOu don't have to PAY to get a job.  If you do, RED FLAG.  Come on people, wake up.  I bet for every one person that admits giving these thieves money, their are hundreds who keep quiet... minus thousands of dollars.

Why would y'all mention these concerns on an obscure blog?  Why not with BBB or a state or fed attorny general? I checked Kriger out with Better Business Bureau and found no unresolved problems.  And the 3 resolved problems were all billing not content or ethics.  I'm not defending Kriger aka EspoirBridge aka IBPA aka Clinqua aka whatever (although the training they give is true if out-of-date) but if you have proof (I don't) then take it to the authorities so that fplks like me don't fall for this.
By the way "Someone with a brain", you DO have to pay for a job - college or training (like KRC offers).

I would just like to see what company accepts their certificate? I called countless HR departments to see if this certificate w/KRC would help with acquiring a position within their organization.  I received a resounding I am not familiar with that organization nor their certification.  With that I place the burden of proof on KRC to advise of who has received this certification and landed the illusive job that they continue to post on-line

it is all not about a certificate but i think this course really gives you a knowledge about a clinical research. it does not work the way that if you have theri certificate you could be 100% sure you got the job, but it is not that you loose if you have it! if anyone who does not have the knowledge about clinical research and has some money to invest is interested in this course should take it. i am happy with what i have learned from them!

Never mind.  Just looked back at previous messages and saw that Clinqua seems to be on the list of scammers.  Come to think of it, also received an email from Kriger with the same $600 special for CRA certification.
Best to stick with the tried and true!
