We got a call from these Hindi people tonight. They said they are from CRA and an arrest warrant has placed on us because we have not paid tax. We started asking them questions in detail and they hung up on us and called back again saying that we have violation 1988 and 1956! When I told him that I am logged to my account with CRA and the balance is zero and you are trying to cheat me, he hanged up. He was an Indian!

I had the same message, sounds like Indian with accent, claiming he is Jason Wright from CRA and my name under investigation with three federal charges if I do not call back.

called for Mr and Mrs Mohamed , and said our name is under investigation ,if  i dont call back he will proceeds with legal action,

Same here, he named himself as Officer Marvin Roger and gave me his Badge Number and said that I have to pay CAD 1377.49 today through the Royal Bank or I have to attend the court day after tomorrow with my accountant and the number could raised up to 85K!!

Just received a call from this # and he said his name was david cooper and from CRA.  I acted as I am scared so he said that I owe CRA about a $1000.00 cad and I will have to go and pay it through Royal Bank immediately or else RCMP would come to my door to arrest me.  I said that I do not have a single penny to pay then he hung up.  The guy has a Sri Lankan accent.

Received a call from this number , the caller said that he was calling from Canadian government. he said there was a complaint in my name and asked me to call back on 613-699-1956

Received a call from this number at 4.15 PM Friday 6 June.  Purported to be Canada Revenue agent name of Marvin Roger.  Indian accent.  High pressure.  Said claim lodged against me for non-payment of tax due for 2012-2013 tax year.  If large sum not paid immediately by cash through Royal Bank, proceedings will commence.  Accountant contacted - confirmed it is a scam.

I received two calls from that number. The first one , the person claimed they worked for the rcmp and that they received a complaint in my name. Stating they would seize my passport if i did not call back.
The second call, they claim they were from CRA and also had a complaint in my name. If i did not call back they would start legal procedure in my name. I had call the passport office and nothing in my file, also called the police and they confirmed it was a scam!.

Yes he call me and he was looking to talk to some one.he said he calling from GV  but he didn't know that name is for men or women .Its fake.

I got the same phone call yesterday and today, after I told him I reported this to the police and if they were real why the R.C.M.P didn't show up, he started swearing and saying extremely bad words. By the way, I'm from Iraq, and live in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Somebody with indian accent called me this morning and left a message saying he is a legal rep of CRA and claiming there is legal issue against me.

Yeah i just got that message my brother scared the s*** out of him lol he said he's not available on his desk hahahha

I did received a voice massage. When I call back somebody from south Asian accent  told me officer Jason is not on duty. He will call you tomorrow and hang-up the phone...

The guy who leave me massage he even can't  speak English....

It is a SCAM.....

I just got a phone call from an Indian man claiming he works for Canada Revenue and that I owe 1390 from 2012-2013. He said if I don't pay it now that it would go to federal court. I asked if he could tell me some personal info and asked why I didn't receive anything in the mail also I said they close at 4:30 it was already 5:30. he then said I am going to fill a case against you and hung up. so I decided to call back and I flipped out he hung up right away. Dumb a**.

I received a call from this # on June 3, approx at 6 PM. they say they are  legal representatives of Canadian rev agency, I am under fed warrant because  banking regulations violations and breach of contract with CRA. They told me how much I have to pay... but thephone call was interrupted, I calledpolice and they told me that CRA never calls that way. The person on the phone have an Asian accent....

Thomas, those are scam artists pretending to call from the canadian govt,they are probably based in south asia. By all means don't fall for that scam.

I got the same phone call. It's a scammer who is looking forward to go to jail. Nothing to worry about.

this number called me and claiming that they are Revenue Canada demanding i make a payment or other wise the police will arrest me . they called me on my home and insisted to keep the line going while they calling me on my mobile and demanded immediate payment at RBC bank or they will send the cops. don't give a s*** about this this .

NB: the accent was Indian
