Yes! Call and let Phonebusters know. They keep track of all these scams and try to pinpoint the originator as,believe it or not, many people fall for these scams and lose so much money, are victims or identity theft and sometimes worse.

Called at 6:40pm - nobody on other end.  Hung up.

They just called me, Air Duct Cleaning or whatever. I've had calls from them before, so I immediately interrupted the man and said, "Yeah I know you're just scammers. You call to come in and case the place for a robbery. I've looked up your company and it's not legit. Maybe you don't know this. I advise you to find a new job immediately."

He told me he was offended that I thought it was a scam, and told me they were legit, and had a proper website, phone number, and everything. I asked him for the website, and he said,

"Why should I give you the website?"

Legit, yeah... Never believed these guys.

they just called me and they told me to move to India so they can have their way with my family and disconnected, this happened as I did not want to provide my contact info, i think is funny as this is proof of the low quality of life that they must have as their education is poor.I have worked in the call center business some time ago, and I will let you know in a secret, most of the call centers in INDIA pay their employees with a bag of rice a week as they are so desperate and in need as their population is exploding due to poor education on sex-ed, just imagine all the illnesses that most of them may have, all in all, we should petty this people as they are just from some dilapidated and over populated village.
Further more, I have visited the said country for business and it was a very displeasing place to be, not a good place to go.

Air Duct Cleaning company, they say they are from my area, but didn't say what the area was, speaker was female with broken english, not a good telemarketer at all, after I heard her introduction, I said I wasn't interested in Air Duct Cleaning, and they immediately hung up on me.

got a call from 613-987-6589 early Saturday morning. very annoying.

just received phone call today Jan 02, 2013 at 5:39 EST.  Took a long time for person to connect on other end and sounded like a call type room.  hung up.

Got the call, my wife answered, no response.  I usually don't answer when I don't know the number.

I had a call from 613 987-6589.  When I answered there was no response.  I hung up, called the number back, and was told that this number is no longer in service.

Do not know who called...

At. 9:43am EST I too received an unwanted disturbance from this number...and I am on the Canadian DNCL. Of course, the list only works with calls originating in Canada...or so by the government employee that called when I filed an official complaint last year.

I will have the last laugh with these calls...my Bell phone is being disconnected mid Jan and I've moved to 100% VOIP where I can filter my incoming calls personally. If you're not on my white list...you don't even ring my number.

I win...Bell Canada loses!

Received a call from this number at 09:42 on Sunday, December 2012.

Caller asked for 'Master of the House' and went on to say: "Your PC has been infected ..." at which point I hung up. This type of scam has been reported fairly frequently in this area.
The 'Call type' below doesn't have a category for this type of call so I have entered 'Unknown'. Should this type of call and the number be reported to the Police?
