These calls are so rude and annoying. Calling sometimes 3-4 tims an hour. DO NOT CALL-ON DO NOT CALL LIST.

I answered this and it was some girl I could hear she was getting into a car she asked for Jason sounded sad when I told her she had the wrong number. Its a private Cell???

This number called me looking for my sister. They wouldnt tell me who they were or what they wanted. They just told me they wanted my sister. They were very rude.

why is discover calling,I do not have their card!

they called me and askinig for differet person , but they dont ask for me ,they are stupids!!!!!!!

it is discover.  they are calling me about my father.  what they do is google/search the last name and start calling people associated with the name.  they like to call before 8am.  They have been told by me and my fathers lawyer not call but I guess they dont seem to care.

it is discover i called the number back it says" thank You for calling Discover Credit Card Services, but they didn't reveal themselves unless my sister said she was me , which is rediculous.

Ben from Discover Card called.  Very rude and argumentative. Would not admit it was a collection call.  Kept talking about an ax.  Finally had him spell it and he meant he wanted to ask something.  Told him he was not very good at his job and he eventually hung up.  Two can play the game of non-information.

Guy says his name is Jeffrey.  I think he is asking for another name, so they may have me wrong.  Sounds like some recorded message from tape as it is a bit garbled and I can't make it all out clearly.  General text of message is "I want to be sure you received the (letter) and you fully understand what is in it.  Call me within the next 72 hours".  Gives a return number of (614) 283-1955 or (800) 347-026(3) or (8).

I am really annoyed, because if it is Discover (which I am seeing on other web posts about this number) there shouldn't be a collection call, and it is coming to my cell phone, which is on a do not call list.

They call my cell phone several times a day every day. Neve leave message. I don't even asnewer when they call

I missed this call, and googling the number led me here. Looks like more annoying scammy stuff.

If you are receiving collection calls, more than likely the collections dept is outsourced to a 3rd party who can only process payments and doesn?t have access to your Credit or Bank account information due to credit privacy laws.  I personally request them to prove WHO they are.

?If you are _____ please prove it by verifying my last payment, and or currently scheduled one?  (Which they cannot). This leads to my ability to tell them I am concerned that this is a phishing scam and that unless you can validate this information, I will not continue the call.  Tell them, that All future transactions must be in writing through the mail.?

And let?s be honest yes it?s fun to torment them back however if your bank doesn?t trust the company handling its collections to confirm previously scheduled payments then why would I want to trust them with handling my payment.

Discover card is who's calling you. Call that number back and they answer. 614-283-1953.

These people call every day but all I ask is that they identify themselves and then I will speak with them. They always refuse to tell me who they are so I hang up until the next day, where the cycle repeats itself.

As soon as I answer, I ask this question before they can even speak. It's so strange that they wont tell me who they are after all this time.

began receiveing calls pass several days, today June 23, 2009, around 3:00 pm lastest call --- we did not answer phone, as do not know anyone in New Albany with the phone number of 614-283-1953  -- please stop calling, we are on the do not call list... thanks...

I answered and a message said "please hold for an important message."  It repeated this several times then went to a busy signal.

This is not discover!  I don't owe them anything and if it was discover they would say that in the message that they left...

Its a pre recorded message... SPAM!  

Don't call them back either cause the number is an OHIO number and they will get you for the long distance charge.
