Guy left msg. stating he is "Donald Clark" of the DOJ and there is a case against me. I called back and he said an order for adipex had been intercepted and I was on a list of defendants in a case in Costa Rica against an illegal pharmacy.  I could settle with Duarte and Duarte for 990.00.  He was affable, even apologetic.  Mentioned US embassy having made this nice arrangement for a fine. I told him he's busted, called the wrong person.  Shouldn't have tipped him off I spose, but was angry at the shakedown.  I told him DOJ and FBI and Costa Rica law firm could come to my door and drg me to jail before I'd pay.  He hung up on me when I said "you're busted" after I played along.

Got a message from same guy asking me to call him back at same #. 7 months ago I was ripped off trying to make a legitamate purchase of a painkiller online. This is part of the same scam. I'm hesitant to call back.

Have just heard from this guy. My local police contacted someone who informed them that this is a scam They want me to return him a call from their offices in Manhattan.
