Some "woman" keeps calling everyday and asking for Stephanie. I keep telling she has a wrong number.  However, even though she is interrupting my day, and being intrusive, she tells me I am being rude!  

She is wasting money, and needs someone responsible to watch over her.

THIS IS A COLLECTION AGENCY,, ANSWER YOUR PHONE IF THEY ARE NOT LOOKING FOR YOU TELL THEM THEY NEED TO REMOVE YOUR NUMBER FROM THEIR SYSTEM. THEY WORK ON A DIALER SYSTEM IF YOU DO NOT ANSWER YOUR PHONE IT WILL KEEP CALLING UNTIL YOU DO. THE BIGGEST MISTAKE PEOPLE MAKE IS SAYING THAT PERSON DOESNT LIVE HERE.. WHO ARE YOU WHY ARE YOU TRYING TO REACH SAID PERSON.. WHEN SOMEBODY ASKS THESE QUESTIONS IT MAKES IT LOOK AS THOUGH YOU ARE TRYING TO HIDE THAT PERSON OR YOURSELF FROM THE DEBT THEY OWE.

Damn Idiots! They call my cell phone two or three times asking for Rodrico. I have continuously told them they have the wrong number and now I am pissed. They have started interrupting me at times when I am extremely busy at work and next time they call I am really going to tell them what I think.

The funny thing about these people is that they just keep calling but don't seem to want anything.  I can't work out what they want, they never leave a message and I don't answer the phone when I see it is their number.  Now that I have their address, I will send them a letter to stop calling me, then hope they keep calling.  I could use some extra cash via a lawsuit.  If you have Vonage phone service, answer each call because Vonage keeps a record of every call you make or receive.  I wonder who pays them to sit and make phone calls all day with no results?  haha   Don't let them upset you, play with them.

I have received harassing calls from this number, also.

Just got called today by a woman from this number, named Jessica.  She asked for someone who doesn't live at my place and I told her to remove the number because it isn't me and this wouldn't be the first time this has happened.  I've been called at least four other times in the past year by collections agencies regarding this person, yet I've had this number for four years straight.  Jessica was very rude, and so I called her back to give her a piece of my mind.  She deserved every bit of it.

these people call constantly but wont tell me what so called bill i owe. I recently suffered a massive heart attack and asked them not to call and was told so what we are still going to call!! help!!

I have traced their number and plan to file suit if they call again.  You can file a case against them and win all costs plus $1,000.00 for your troubles.

I get called a few times a day.

This company keeps calling my home phone. They keep asking for my ex who has never lived here, he lives in N.C. I have told them this and they just hang up. I have repeatedly asked them not to call my home but they continue to do so. I wish I knew how to get them to stop. They call 6 or more times a day. It can be very frustrating.

Same exact thing is happening to me - I've received two calls in two days, but no message.  I see everyone posting complaints, but does anyone know what to do to get them to stop?

Gentlemen called here and asked for my wife's first name and when i told him she was not available he just hung up. Then I called the number back to see who it was and the person I Spoke with got very rude when I started questioning who was calling so i could pass it on to my wife.

THIS NUMBER KEEPS RINGING MY NUMBER AND DONT LEAVE MESSAGES. I DONT ANSWER IF I DONT KNOW THE NUMBER. I LET THEM LEAVE A MESSAGE AND THEN I WILL CALL THEM IF IT IS A BUSINESS REASON. I KNOW PEOPLE THAT HAS RECEIVED PHONE VIRUS (JUST LIKE ON EMAIL) AND IT FRIED THEIR PHONE. SO I DONT KNOW WHAT THIS NUMBER IS FOR BUT WOULD LIKE TO KNOW. I WISH THEY WOULD STOP CALLING!!!!

I don't usually answer my phone if a number calls and I don't know who it is, until they leave a message.  This number has called me 4 times within the past week and hasn't left a message once...it's kind of scary that other people have had issues with it also.

They call my office EVERYDAY like 4 times a day!  When I answer the phone "Good morning, (company name), How may I help you?" They hang up...

THIS IS EXTREMELY IRRITATING!! Who are these people and what do they want?

If you are completely annoyed send them a certified letter, stating you want the phone harrasment to stop and you have contacted the phone company to place a trace on your phone account.  Mention you have filed a police report and will contact the Federal Trade Commission if needed.

conversation repeatedly or continuously with intent to annoy, abuse, or harass any person at the called number.

That should get them to stop, otherwise file a suit and you will probably win if you have multiple traced calls after you had sent a certified letter telling them to stop called.  Have three copies one for you, police a copy and send the third certified to them.

The true key to hurting them is get multiple people on a class action suit against them for harrasment then we could sue for $500,000.00 or 10% of the companies net value.
