I am calling the number back right now - some extended warranty coverage scam - when I hit number 1 for the marketing rep it hung up on me - I will try again as I like to annoy these people as much as possible.

I have everyday phonecallings from number like this : 63030000976309, always starts at 630030000... i had never pick up this because i,m afraid that will be something dangerous, i don´t understand why i received this , how can i stop it?
I live in Spain and i check the code number and 63 comes from Philipinnes, i dont know people there

Just got a call from 6232386228 with the same stuff, I got a call from this number too several days ago. Looks like the caller is using some automatic sequencial dialer, since I see somebody from LA just got called too. Also the caller might be from outside US, because otherwise it's way too easy to be caught and sued.
Just want others know my experience.

They also call from 562-289-8136. They even call me at school, I don't have a car, I don't have a licence, and I'm a minor. These people can be charged with harassment if they have called you at work since it is illegal to do so if you are a bill colector or telemarketer.

I got it too. An automated message about car insurance came on. I can't even drive so I knew immediately it was a fake. My phone displays the city and state and it says it came from Columbus OH.

fake extended warranty, when i called man told me i was wrong that they could not call my cell phone unauthorized, he yelled and screamed and threatened me, he refused to identify his company, i asked to be put on do not call list and he said he would put me on all the call lists, then called back on another line to further harass and swear at me-
File complaints with the FCC, this is against the law- as well as the better business bureau if you are in their locality or have purchased their product. see also whocalled.us

Ya, this # 614-453-6303 has called both my cell #'s and talks about a warrenty, I press the #2 to stop the calls but it still continues. I went and block the calls from marketing companies and still they call both of my cells.

I got the same number on my cell phone today too. I didn't get the chance to answer it, and I guess I'm glad I didn't.

They just called my wifes cell phone- tried to get info on our car- They pretended to be our insurance company, told us our policy with them was already expired (it wasn't).
When i started talking the lady hung up on me.  I recommend prosecuting them to the fullest extent of the law.

My cell phone was called by this number.  I received an automated message about my warranty expiring.  I believed this to be true so I accepted it.   I spoke to a sales representative who then transferred me to their "finance department."   Where they checked my vin number and pulled up my car.   Outside of the information they were able to obtain from my vin number, they were not able to produce any other information about me or my car.   I put her on hold when she asked for my credit card information so I could finish my google search, at which point I saw several hits of negative comments and people angry with their purchase.   I insisted that they send me something in writing...which she would not do until I gave her my credit card number to "secure the purchase."   She did mention that our call was being recorded for quality assurance about a dozen times to try to lure me into a sense of security, even mentioning that it would be reviewed by some review board...bottom line, I didn't trust her...and as soon as I demanded some sort of validation of the product she was selling (like actual paperwork, or a number that I could call her back at) she hung up.

I just received a call from (614) 453-6303 today and I did answer, but nobody on the other end said anything and the call ended after five seconds.  I was visiting with a friend at the time, so I did not call back and now that I see what sort of calls others have received from the same number, I will not be calling back.

This was an unsolicited, prerecorded telemarketer call on my cell phone, which I'm pretty sure is illegal.  If you get called again, get as much info as possible and report it to the FCC.

i just got the call today. #614-453-6303. i didn't answe it. i don't answer calls if the name does not pop up. i knew it was a recorder.

If you keep getting calls and want them to stop log onto www.donotcall.gov and register your cell phone numbers and home numbers... after 31 days they can be reported and get in big trouble.
( they are allowed to call cellphones now to sell stuff!)
