asked for my husband by name, when I asked to take a message, he hung up

This jerk's been harassing us for years. As always, he calls from a number that cannot be called back and harasses who ever answers the phone. This time he said his name was "Pat Riley". He always asks for me by name. What a looser!

I have turned this moron into the FCC and FTC. The number the idiot calls from is from an outgoing only phone line.  He knows the address to our business and has now made threats.  He is too much of a jack*ss to leave a msg or say where he is calling from.

This man always calls from different numbers and ask for TERRY (I always tell him he's not here), but today he  went to far saying, my boss is in a real f***ing bad mood, can you tell him to move it along.  WHO DO I REPORT THIS TO?

he called asking for my husband name, when I said he was out can I take a message he hangs up.

Where is this person calling from (outgoing only number) and why is he harrassing people?  How do we get them to stop

Tella markerter calling selling tools, I said that is was not interested. And then he leaves a message telling me that i will be call by every tool company out there form Florida, California, & Texas, Same old tela marketer tricks. WHAT A Loser. If he has the balls to come out from behind the phone i would love to have a personal meeting.

Fortunately I never do business with these type of lazy marketers.(RUDE with no CLASS). Seems He has no experience in this field,despite he's tried for the last 5 years , he has a better chance in winning the LOTTO than getimg me to buy ANYTHING from HIM .

This guy called asking for Jim, my husband's name, said he was calling with Midwest Valley Contractors (???) returning his call. I questioned the validity of this call and he told me we could go f%&# ourselves.
If he's trying to sell something using these tacticts he's not going to get anywhere with us much less anyone else.

All nuisance phone calls... why suffer they are ALL ILLEGAL !
FIGHT BACK ! Do the following
1. Report immediatelly to your phone operator to have the call blocked, they have an obligation to protect their customers against abuse and harassment .
2. Report to OFCOM

3. You can contact the Police as the company who is making the call is against the law.

4. If it is discovered that the company is a bailiffs or a credit card company then they could have easily have broken the law by breaking the following:
a. The administration of justice Act 1970 Section 40
b. The Data protection act 1998 various sections, in disclosing personal information over a phone line containing personal information for others to hear or overhear on say an answer phone.
5. Contact the Office of fair trading and report the company when you discover who it is, they have great powers.

6. When you have done this claim back your expences and don't be affraid to name and shame.

REMEMBER your telephone operator/service providers are aiding and abetting this illegal activity and are liable, especially as they are earning off the backs of this scum by creaming off their commission, the customs and excise do not escape criticism as they are getting Value added tax, illegally !
