Claims to be from the Tn FOP Fndtn. Calls oome frequently; and at different
times in the day and...in the evening....they are so rude!!!  The 1st time
they called I answered and tried to have some sort of conversation; but they
rudely told me that I can afford to send them at least $25.00 even though i
told them that I am on a fixed income, and have to scrape by.  They were so
very rude that I had to hang up on them.  I am using the public library system
to report this as i do not have a computer.

This is a rip-off scam and the guy collecting money for his crack habit is posting that it is (above). My information is that this operation is about to be shut down for fraud, Don't get taken in by this SCAM !!

They keep calling will not leave a message. I have talked to them once and told them not to call back but they still call. I am on the do not call registry. I would like for this to stop!!!

By the middle of the call I figured out it was a robot. I did make a pledge, but told them to send it to me. The reason it seems rude is that it is an automated system. Ask the system the color of his hair.

For those of you that complain about being on the Do Not Call registry and are getting calls from these people, they are exempt from the rule, because they are a "non profit" organization. They under TN state law have the right to call and solicit money from each and every one of us. I think the laws need to be changed.

Calls come in multiple times a day everyday. I have repeatedly asked them to stop calling. I have 4 children and I am a stay at home mom with only my husband's income. We are struggling ourselves and cannot afford to donate anything to anyone for any reason. They just won't stop calling. I am on the Do Not Call registry and they just don't care, because they continue to call and harrass me for money.

now they're using 1 615-348-1939, Caller I.D. "Tenn FOP" calls in a.m., p.m. Other sites have posted '1930' so sounds like cluster of lines in boiler room. Bye the bye, official from real TN FOP admits they use donations for political action (see WATE Channel 6 in Knoxville story). Not with my money!

Got a call 5 min. ago. They asked for my wife, BY NAME. When I told the caller she was not at home, the line went dead. This is the first time they've contacted my phone (cell). I'll continue to report additional calls if they persist. I hate the rudeness -- any chance you had of getting a donation is now DEAD AND GONE.

Please stop calling me. Your number shows up on caller ID and I will not answer. Your calls are late-just before 9:00pm when I am getting ready to go to sleep. I am on the TN Do-Not Call registry. Call again and I will report you.

Call comes in every night LATE.
I've threatened legal action if they do not stop calling.
Now they call asking for "The Lady Of The House"
They are now profiling women for donations.

This cannot be legal.
I have filed complaints with the FTC and will be discussing with the State Police tomorrow.

Claims to be from Tennessee "FOP" Foundation. This calls comes every day and at all times of the day.  Very annoying and rude.

This number has called numerous times in the past week.  I work nights, and hear the phone ring during the day but I do not answer it unless I know who it is.  I'm tired of waking up to this.
I answered a call from a 202 area code last week (my hubby is on the job hunt), and according to sites like this, it's the same "company".  I immediately told them to quit calling, put me on your do not call list, and the guy grunted at me and said "uh-huh".  I told him again to quit calling and hung up.
I wonder how many numbers they are calling from.
It just says "Hendersonville, TN" on the caller id and they do not leave a message.

Very persistent begging calls from what apears to be a solicitation company. Rude in the extreme and liable to call at any time of the day or night. I've tried blocking them but they own so many phone numbers that it is impossible to get ahead of them.

They call each and every day. Who are these people?

Only when we gave at the door have these calls been coming in.  You are complete jerks.

I received a call from them at work a couple years ago. This guy was from Texas. I told him I would talk it over with my boss as I wasn't the one that was going to donate. He called back the next week asking about our donation. I told him that we already donated to another union of firefighters. He proceeded to curse at me and insisted I told him we were going to donate. I hung up on him. If he really is from the FOP, he sure lost any donation from me or my company in the future. Strong-arm tactics aren't going to help you.
