Just got one of these regarding a family member.  I called them back and they said she has 2 very serious felony charges being filed against her.  Wouldn't give them her #, but did contact her.  Then did some research on line and called Tenessee Bureau of Investigations.  They get hundreds of complaints about these guys.  Total scam - don't talk to them.  I'm gonna see if I can have their number blocked!

I received multiple phone calls from this number, so one day i finally answered.  the man on other end had my name, SS#, multiple addresses for me and stated I had warrants from 2 different payday loans that i defaulted on.  proceeded to tell me i needed to pay like 1400 dollars that day and if i didn't they were gonna send it to the state for processing, have me arrested at my workplace and put in jail for fraud.   i asked for the names of the payday loans, the account numbers, address and phone numbers.  they said they could email/fax it.  i said no i want it mailed to my address before i pay anything.  then they threatened my more by saying you will be arrested tomorrow and asked me who would get me out of jail.  i said noone.   told me to go borrow money from friends and/or family.  told them they would have to come get me cause there was noone i could borrow money off of. then told me to ask my work for an advance on my payday. Inspector James talked first then put on his "supervisor" inspector West.  i hung up and they are still calling my number.  But they ain't getting any money out of this person....get a job and earn your money  worthless people.....
Don't fall for their game.   report them if they call you.

I received a call from this number stating that I had 2 felony arrest warrants out for me based on a Cash Loan that I have not done.  They had old addresses and email addresses and said that is how they contacted me is through email and the old address.  They state they are calling from the National Fraud investigator unit so I called the TN division of Fraud and asked for the investigator.  Her name is Katrina West and they do not have any record of that investigator.  They took down the name and number so hopefully they will put an end to it.  These scam places are praying on fear that you will pay what they ask so you won't be "arrested"

I received a message on my voicemail from this number.  All I could understand was the call back number the phone was going in and out.  It was hard to make out the reason for the call.  When I called back I reach an answering machine the individual indicate "my name is Karen Bark, I currently conducting an investigation in my office right now.  Please leave your name and number and I will get back to you."

This number called my great grandmother. The man said that he was looking for my great-grandfather, who couldn't read or write, much less write a check or sign paperwork, and has aso been dead for years, claiming that he had debt.  My Pappaw never handled the money - he simply didn't know how.  This is a scam.  When called back, they answered the phone as "department of investigations."
