Same thing just happened to me.  I answered.  I could hear laughing ladies in background, no one responded to my 3 Hellos.  I called it back and it says number is not in service.  And I happen to be on the Do Not Call List, which is a big joke.  Supposedly you're supposed to be able to make compalints and those companies for which you can track date, time, name of biz, etc., and they get fined and you get a fee.  But I always file reports and nothing has ever happened and no one has ever contacted me. and they still continue to call.  There's no system in place to punish violators of the do not call list.

timeshare marketing if you own one or more timeshare you get calls constantly saying free trip act now and add more points onto your time share to win the trip.  quite the scam!

Received call from this number Caller ID said Tennessee Call and some woman with a foreign accent babbled some carap I could NOT understand. I just hung up.Attempted to call the number and was told it was not in service. Also being on the NO CALL LIST is worthless. The government dont care.

Woman with very foreign accent called trying to offer me a free vacation. She said her name was Diane Davis but I don't know what the company was called. She told me she was calling from round rock Texas, which is not that far from me and she told me that which I found odd since round rock is in a different county with a different area code than mine and the one she called from. When I tried to explain to her that I wasn't interested she just kept asking me why and after I gave her numerous reasons she hung up on me. I was trying to be polite but she was acting very suspicious. I blocked my number on my cell and tried to call the number back but the number is not in service so that's not a good sign.
