got a call from this number and noone is there.

Hey sideshowshane i've got unlimited minutes and got 2 calls from this number explain that one!!

I just got a call. called them back. Minutes are OK. No billing issues for them to call about. It's a mystery!!!!!!

called me too, no message.  hardly anyone has my cell.  husband has verizon too so wonder if they'll call him

Just got a call from this number.  Didn't leave a message. I called back and got a "Verizon" automated greeting that I'm quite sure is a scam to get my banking/billing info!  I am reporting this to Verizon Wireless right away!

Call from 615-831-7200 did not answer becasue I do not answer calls who I do not know who it is. They did not leave a message

It was Verizon Wireless.

It was Verizon Wireless calling my Vonage number because they want me to sign on for a new two years since my contract has expired.

called my cell #. no one has that number except family members. how did they get it?

This is an invalid old number for verizon wireless. Not just a verizon wireless number, but actually a number used by verizon to make solicitation calls. However, if you answer they do not talk to you. You get disconnected. When you call it back, you receive an announcement that it is an old financial service department number for Verizon and in the future, don't call them back on this number, but call them at 1-866-266-1445. They then announce you are being transferred there. After a hold you are then asked for your password for your account. Hmmmm. If they are calling me they should be able to explain this. They won't until you give them a pass word.

This is a legit number.  It is Verizon Wireless, and it was a courtesy call to let me know of the current promotions that were going on, and to see if I wanted to know about future promotions with them. If you are a current customer, don't worry about this number.  If you are not a current customer, it is just a promotion to get more customers, because they are merging with Altel Communications.

Receive a call on 2008/07/30 at 15:31 and I have Verizon.  No one answered.

Me too.  No message.  Verizon.  I thought it was Vanderbilt offering me a new job.  Ha!

Verizon Wireless courtesy call about going over my plan minutes and alternatives. They saved me $180 from my daughter going over our minutes.

they just called me too, I don't answer numbers I do not recognize.  no message left....funny I have verizon, but through my husbands account....wonder if they called him.

Recived a call from this number-no name @ 1053 a.m.  I don't know anyone from this area.

When I answered they hung up immediately, supposedly this number belongs to Verizon Wireless. CREEPY - atleast they didn't whisper '7 days'

Just rec'd a call today (3/12/08) @11:24am.  It's Verizon Wireless' account dept.  I believe it's due to a bill my husband owed. (the phone was in my name).
