I got to remember about the student visa thing. They are exempt because they are not trying to sell anything TANGABLE ),  just their politics Same with opinion POLLS. Telemarketers can because they can hide their true caller ID which is totally illegal ... unless you know a judge that can have an order written to have these calls traced - at no cost to you.  Othewise after the call comes in dial *57 for call trace but be prepare4d. it costs $20 PER TRACE  and you need police or state attorney generals office authorization to have the true caller ID revealed. Luckily, I have a congressman living next door. (or try *69 for call back - and give them a dose of their own medicine). Usually when I call the number back it asks for the to be removed from their call list!!!

Keps calling but does not leave answer

I received a call from this number.  The number is similar to a friend's so I answered the phone. It was a robocall from a conservative group.  I told them I wasn't interested in answering their questions & hung up.

The second time t I got a call from this number, I told them I wasn't a citizen; that I'm here on a student visa. They haven't called back.

I just filed a complaint with the FCC on the American Future Fund.  I have been receiving calls frequently for well over a year.  I do not feel that polling should be excluded from a DO NOT CALL registry as the political calls in Wisconsin are annoying.

I think I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.

This is a robocall from a political campaign.  They are immune from the Do Not Call List.  They are crooks and will not stop calling until you disconnect your phone.  Please write your congressman to stop this kind of criminal from using the phones in the future.

These morons keep calling us.  They usually call at 12 AM and wake us up then again around 4AM.  They have some recorded message about Obama and another one about the casino that opened up in Columbus this week.  They are so freaking annoying.  I have a family ember who is critically I'll othwise I would take my phone off the hook when we go to bed.  I wish they would STOP!

It is supposed to work but I have called American For Prosperity SEVERAL times and told them to PLEASE STOP CALLING MY CELL Phone (I thought they werent allowed to call cellphones) but they keep calling anyway!  So don't expect your calls to stop!  I thought when you registered on DO NOT CALL list it is supposed to keep these callers away, but mine get WORSE~

Listen to the message when you call back....."if you have a question or comment" is what they say .Well I'm in my legal right to make a comment. I'm playing tunes, that's my comment. Play them until the message box is full.

I have an unpublished number and am on the do not call list.  How much more can I do to not get any calls?!  I'd really like to know how they got my number and who sold it to them.

There is a law against this, but...

The law against this excludes political organizations, polling surveys for political purposes, etc.  

Things like this.  

It's a stupid law, in my opinion, but if it JUST HAS TO be a law, it's pretty crappy to exclude political related calls.

They called my cell twice. I never answer calls from numbers I don't know......I HATE ELECTION YEAR....they are all morons!

Received a call from this nmber.  Says their from Michigan.  They left no message.

The CID only says Michigan Call. I let the answering machine pick it up. No message.

The robocallers at 616-209-9278 started calling again today. It's the American Future Fund from Iowa. Iowa Senator Sandra Greiner is President and Director of this PAC--There should be some sort of law against this. They call and don't leave a message. I guess they are calling from a Michigan area code now. They have some kind of survey and they ask if you are voting for Obama or W. Mitt the Twitt Romney. The American Future Fund survey doesn't allow you to choose Obama. I guess the survey must be rigged. They called me every day for over a month, sometimes several times per day. They gave me a few days off, but they are back to their obnoxious tactics again. I thought robocalling is illegal.

If you ask to be taken off the list, then they know they have a good number. Don't forget that they are telemarketers and you don't really know who is actually calling. They will probably just keep calling you back.

A Google search shows up an American Future Fund which has, in part, on it's website:

"Conservative and free market principles will be under direct attack in America. In light of that, it is imperative there be a voice for conservative principles that sustains free market ideals focused on bolstering America?s global competitiveness across the country."

American future funds polling line....at least that is what the recording said when I called it back.  If you wait for the message to end, you can leave your name, state of residence, and phone number to be taked off their list.  We'll see if it works.

Received a call from this number just a few minutes ago. I let it go to the answering machine, but the caller hung up.
