Bank Card Services. Very similar to the "Rachel from Cardholder Services" from A+ Financial Center, LLC aka Accelerated Financial Centers, LLC aka; Accelerated Accounting Services that was charged by the FTC with misleading consumers about their services, calling phone numbers on the Do Not Call Registry, illegally collecting up-front fees, and making illegal robocalls. The FTC imposed a judgment of $9,238,155 in August of 2013. It seems more than coincidental that "your second and final notice to lower interest" calls began just as "Rachel" calls were tapering off. I would be very surprised if "Cardholder Services" and "Bank Card Services" were not related ventures. Rather than complaining to the FCC I recommend filling out a Do Not Call online complaint on the FTC website. They seem to be far more effective with predatory phone scammers (if enough complaints are made) so it is VERY IMPORTANT to file ASAP after the call as they change phone numbers on a regular basis.

So tired of continually receiving these same unwanted phone calls!
For each and every unwanted call, please report at both Federal Communications Commission (FCC) websites.

The US Government's Do Not Call List apparently doesn't work very well, but I report these violators anyway at www.donotcall.gov/ Maybe if everyone did, we'd get some action. The air horns and shrill whistles are great, but when it's a robocall, it doesn't help. I just let the answering machine handle them.

BANK CARD SRVCS FROM 616-613-2100, did not answer and they did not leave a message. I'm on the DO NOT CALL LIST, that does no good. I think since the govenment and phone companies can't stop these jerks they should have to give customers the ability to block these jerks for free. Then, maybe if enough of the scammers get blocked the calls would stop.

This is a credit card scam. Only part of the computer generated message was left on my machine. It says to contact them immediately because the "financial stimulus" is about to expire. They make it sound like you are late on a payment or something by the way the wording is presented. In the end they just want you to apply for credit. BUYER BEWARE!! There no longer seem to be any kind of protection for the American consumers anymore. Be very, very careful when ordering anything from anyone. Even the credit card companies will no longer protect you from scams. It doesn't help at all the pay via a credit card online or over the phone. THE CONSUMER HAS NO RECOURSE. Your card can be credited as many times as the "business" desires no matter what you do... your only chance is to get rid of that particular card and start over. GOOD LUCK!!

When you call back and request that your number be put on their do not call database, you are only confirming to them that they have reached a "live" number. They will call you more frequently, and they will sell your number around. I know this because I did this once, and my calls increased 10-fold. Also, when I called the FTC to report one of these scammers that cussed me out, they verified the same thing.
Best thing to do is to not answer at all. I love the horn suggestion, but doing that is "against the law." hahaha Wouldn't it be ironic, although improbable, to have one of these scammers press charges against you for using an air horn on them? I may just take my chances though.
I've gotten to the point where I only have one phone ring in my house, and it is set on low. At night, I turn it off, and turn it back on when I get up in the morning.

You can't! It's as simple as that.

Received a call from 616-613-2100 on May 24, 2013 Caller ID showed Bank Card Srvs. It was an automated message pitching "Reduce your interest rates under the stimulus package." I selected the option to speak with a person. Super speed talking boiler room type answered and I could not understand what she said. I asked her to repeat what she said and it was the pitch for rate reduction on credit cards and was I calling to accept their services. I said "No, I answered their call to find out who was calling me. She hung up without another word.
I called 616-613-2100 back on my dime. They offered several options, I selected the "Place my number on their do not call database.
Area code 616 is the area code for the Grand Rapids, Michigan, and Holland ? Grand Haven metropolitan areas, which includes Kent, Ionia and Ottawa counties, and parts of neighboring counties. Wikipedia

Get calls fro Bank Card Service weekly telling nothing wrong with our cards, but they offer a better deal...... best way to stop your worry about credit card info is to put caller on hold..... they don't want to waste time...we never reply to calls with Unknown info or phone numbers

Bank Card Services, phone number 616-613-2100, called me again today. This time I was able to speak to a real person without them hanging up on me. He had a mid-eastern accent and there was an excessive amount of telemarketing sounds in the background. He told me I had more than $3,000 dollars in debt on my credit card and wanted to know if it was MC or Visa, LOL, so I told him all my cards are over that. LOLOL He told me my address (a no brainer, I?m listed in the phone book) and then asked me to give me the account numbers to my cards so he could verify them. I told him he needed to find a new job because I reported his scam company to federal agencies and they will be investigated. But the question is, will they? These foreign people are trying to get our credit card numbers. Who?s going to stop it? I reported this company. You should too.

This is a credit card scam outfit that left a message threatening "this is your last chance to change your credit card interest rates as this relates to the federal stimulus bill" or something close to that
Partial Transciption per GV: "Press 1 now to find out the terms, conditions and associated changes before the next billing cycle. Again, this is your final notice as it relates to the [US federal] financial stimulus. So press one now to take advantage of this today."
so i simply clicked on "Block Caller" in Google Voice and those scammers will never get through to me again - at last not calling from that phonenumber
thanks Google Voice !

Credit Card Services. They will hang up on you if you question them as to who they are and ask about them adhering to the Do Not Call list.
| Miss Sally 2013-05-14 16:57:22 Unknown |
This is a fake credit card service alert, stating "this is the last call you will receive about lowering your interest rates". If you press 1, you hear music that has typing sounds overlaid into it and then a person (American) answers to offer you lower rates I hung up. I would like to tie up their lines in some way but didn't have any ideas. another predatory telemarketer

Did not answer phone, *69'd the number, no message left, called back, and their prompts said "push one to be connected to our customer service reps." Of course, no one was there. Googled the number, and came to this page. F***'ers. Hate these b*****ds. Pushed the prompt to have the add me to their "do not call database." We will see.

I have been using this tactic on these annoying calls. I will pick up the phone and not say a word. There is usually silence on their end and after 15 seconds they hang up. I know it will not stop the calls, but it makes me feel good about tying up their phone line and slowing them down. Hopefully it keeps them from making as many calls.

Got a call this afternoon and voicemail was saying something about "this is your last chance to lower your interest rates and something about the stimulus. I've gotten calls from this # many times before so I don't know when my last chance will run out! It appears to be never! ID said Bank card Services.

These folks have been calling me with recorded messages for MONTHS, always saying "this is your second and last opportunity..." . Obviously they don't know the meaning of the words 'second' or 'last'. Are there really people who fall for this kind of garbage call?

Idiot credit card services. Don't know them, don't want to. Have called to be removed from calling list. They keep calling. I am sure they are looking for the people who had this number before us.
