I've received 2 calls from this number in the last 2 days. No talking/breathing on the other line that I can hear. Anyone figure out who it is yet

he was trying to rent a home on craiglist.com.  HIGHLY FISHY????  he said his name was jerimiah stone, but he was in NC for business.  (beautiful pics) he wanted me to fedex him $1,000 and he would send me the keys tomorrow???
i went back to craigslist...the ad was gone.  i "white paged" the address and there were residents there already.  then i googled the number where he called me from and here i am leaving a msg.

This number called me at 2am last night, I didn't answer, but was quite annoyed.

I have friends in UK and their calls USED to go through AT&T Privacy Manager.  Now they come straight thru on this 616-828-4451 as "International Gateway".

we didn't receive a call but now he is doing it by email...same as tara on march 25th. saw rental on craigslist and emailed...wanted money ASAP, would send keys...etc...this is scary especially if there are crank calls attached.
Boy am I glad I found this webpage...may have fallen for the guy's scam.

yep, same story as tammy and tara.  he's doing it all by email.  ad was flagged for removal from craigslist.

This number calls and request payment for a shippment the company I work for is involved in.  They have called at least 30 times today alone.

I never received a call from him because I have yet to give him the number. I am glad I found this website. I have been chatting with him via email regarding a place he wants to rent. Says he is in Liverpool....Said to send him money then I will get keys. Home is GORGEOUS. Thanks Message BOARD!
