These are telemarketing scammers, playing on elderly and unimformed to the projected amount of $25 million this year!


If you want to fight fire with fire at Vista Marketing, then send them mail, pizzas, buses and all manner of spam at their personal residences.  The officers of the corporation are: Frank Burkett, Tom Burkett and Scott Wostbrock. Their reported HOME addresses are:

I think you misread, they CLAIM that the call is regarding visa, but they say they are called VISTA SERVICES
not to be mistaken for the crappy excuse for windows on the computer
I haven't found a single thing on this VISTA company, and this has been going on for at least two years

These calls have NOTHING to do with VISA.  I called them after I received the call regarding the gas card and realized that the call was fake.  VISA assured me that they have no such promotion.  I also gave them the phone numbers that had called my phone all day (they were all Michigan area codes).  VISA told me that they try to get you to verify information and record you saying "Yes" or "Correct" to use as "proof" of you ordering something.  VISA has flagged my account and will not hold me accountable for any charges/orders that may show up.  I suggest that anyone who answers one of these calls and speaks to the person, hang up and call your credit card company immediately to notify them of the attempted scam.

No, that is not true........ I didn't buy anything from any such websites...Also, I am a 57 yr. old woman and they called me.

Regarding these calls and the info provided in a previous post quotes below, even if this "Lucre Inc." is a legit company who happens to do business with less than legit individuals, perhaps their phone, fax & e-mail should be flooded by those of us who get unsolicted calls as a result of their carelessness.  Perhaps their management would notice

When I googled Vista Scam, I came across a post about a different Vista number for the same scam but the number was 616-980-1151
the guy called walmart after canceling his credit card to be safe, and walmart had no idea what this whole vista thing about about, and were totally unaware of any special voucher programs with them.

if they've been doing this since 2008, just reporting them isn't enough, someone needs to shut them down and throw them all in prison for attempt at credit card, identity, and who knows what other crimes they've commited

did some more research on this,
from what i've read it looks like this exact same "gas card" crap vista scam has been happening since 2008.
I've also seen a few posts were people are connection this Vista scam with someone called Crescent Processing Company, also known as Diamond Processing, and one other name that started with an A, I thought I wrote it down, guess I threw it away.
can anyone confirm that there is an actual connection between vista and crescent? i've seen NUMEROUS complaints about crescent, but I don't know how they got connected.
The only thing i can say for sure about Vista is that they've been scamming for at least two years, they've had NUMEROUS numbers over the years, the list is about a page long in my notebook so far.
I think everytime they get caught, or get close to being stopped, they lay low, change up their numbers, and try again.
The other thing I've been hearing is a lot of stuff about Lucre, Lucre is simply a call center, for all I know vista could be in BFE, but they're using Lucre telecommunications, that's why the number is showing up for michigan.
I saw one person say that when he confronted the caller, stating he knew he was calling from michigan, the caller stated that he was calling from somewhere else
Somone else answered the phone as the "Lincoln county sherrif's department" and the caller told him "sorry, wrong number....i'm all the way in florida"
so who knows?
Anyway, if anyone else knows anything it'd be nice to know, and if anyone can confirm this "crescent" company being connected to "Vista"

I just received a call from this number for the first time.  They called and hung up after one ring.  Then they called and hung up after 2 rings.  I didn't even get to answer, but I always Google the phone numbers.  Hope this stops for everyone.  It looks like it's been going on since 2009?  WOW.

Thiws is a B.S. SCAM!!!!!!!!! They call me from this # and a couple others.  They state ion a prerecorded message when I call back that they are checking into an online purchase.  I didn't purchase anything.  I started answering their calls and noone would respond, this is VERY FRUSTRATING.

be aware that anyone can get the LAST four digits of your card.  I mean when I save my receipts it shows like ********* then the last four digits so it wouldn't be hard at all for them to get that kind of information.
From some of the things i've been hearing about this, Lucre isn't they're real number, they're not even located in Michigan *supposedly* but Lucre is.
please be advised i've also recd calls from 231-731-2735, which apparently is also part of this gas and vista thing, and i haven't seen this particular number mentioned her so i thought i'd bring it up.
at this point, i'm more than just ready to be left alone, i want pay back for all the people they've harrassed, and all the people who have unfortunately fallen for this, and for all the people whose precious minutes on their phones were wasted

My wife ans. the call .  High press. pitch. she accepted then thought better of it, called me at work and said she screwd up.. Immed. called the credit card company cancelled the card and I'm getting a new number, also reported it to their security div.  and since I'm on the national donot call list I made a complaint throught them.  I'm sure to get another call from them since their charge didn't go through and I told my wife not to ans. and I will deal with them whem I'm home.

This number called me four times today, once every hour.  I have no idea who they are and what they want.  But judging from the information here, they need to be blocked. I'm on the Do Not Call registry, so they are breaking the law.

They have personal info. DO NOT give them anything......................something is very wrong here

Have gotten several calls today from this number.  Very frustrating according to my at&t site can't block the number on my phone

Rec'd call on my cell phone from this p/n and I heard a lot of voices in the background and then the call was disconnected from their end.

Received 5 calls today, no message. STOP CALLING MY cell number I am on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY!!!!

received 6 calls in one day up until 8 at night, missed calls they leave no message,  called back answering maching stating you have reached the order confirmation dept and gives you options.  never states what company this is.
Never ordered anything, has to be some type of scam.  calls have started again today.  Who are these people.???

I received a call from this number about 5 times since 9 a.m., I am not home to get the calls and they haven't left a message either. Next time I'm home I will pick up the phone and let them know I am forwarding their number to the FBI for tracing and possible criminal charges.

616-980-1152 or 1154, they give you the company name of Vista Marketing. They are trying to confirm a shipment.........one that I have never placed.  
This is great that everyone reports this but nothing is being done.  
They have been calling people for years how can this be legal?

keep receiving phone calls from this number...finally answered, asked the guy what company he is calling from and he said he'll answer my question if I answer his, which was is this (my name). I said, you called me, you answer me first. he wouldnt, so i told him no im not (my name) and he hung up.

I have received countless calls from this number in the last 24 hours. Same thing, I never answered the calls, they never left a message.  Finally, I called back and got a recording saying they were trying to confirm my "shipmentg"- yeah a shipment of b.s.!  I finally answered this last time and the woman said her name and company name so fast and unclear I had asked her to repeat it. I said who is this? She said Missy.  I said not your name, your company.  She said, well you asked for my name and if you would stop interrupitng me for a minute I could tell you.  I said- you don't need to be rude to me. And she said, I'll show you rude and she hung up on me.  My blood is boiling and we are already in a heatwave here in So Cal.  I called back and left my callback number on the recording and asked for a supervisor to call met back.  Unbelieveable, rude, ignorant biatch calling my phone, having attitude and hanging up on me! The nerve!!!!!
