NO MESSAGE. ID SAYS TN REMOVAL LINE. GOT SIMILAR CALL FROM DIFFERENT NUMBER CALLED TN REMOVAL SYSTEM
Martin_G 2013-09-28 15:25:50 Telemarketer
Offering to "lower my interest rate". I left him waiting for me to "go get my card".
Rumplestiltskin 2013-09-27 18:06:43 Telemarketer
From other reports, looks like they're using the many of the same "main numbers", with different area codes.
I hear from these bozos several times a week -- gets to the point where, for entertainment value, I'll hit the #1 as soon as the "second chance" stuff starts...
Nice little girl today tried to claim that they don't use auto-dialer computers, and was convinced that, somehow, *I called her!* .. WOOT!
She got really pissed when she couldn't get a word in edgewise.

This number calls and doesn't say anything.
dar 2013-09-27 00:01:07 Unknown
this number 616-980-2030, 616-980-2164, call within an hour of each other, even put message on machine with the this is your second call - lower interest rates - press 1 - usually keep phone off hook but the minute it is on, robo calls come in one after the other, from security alarms - to bank card services - something needs to be done - numbers on DO NOT CALL LIST mean nothing.

This is at least a bi-weekly occurrence, I am going to set this one to blocked. Same as reported by numerous people here. Caller ID: TN Removal Line, it used to be Bank Card Services.

Left a message about rates. On "no call" list, but seems that each time you report a number, the caller just changes numbers and calls again.
Grumpy 2013-09-25 15:41:06 Unknown
I just got a call too. As far as I can tell it's just another scam to rob you of your credit card numbers and identity in order to charge thousands to your cards and sell your personal information to other criminals who will continue to cause financial and even legal problems for you.
What I don't understand is why so many people who are contacted by these illegitimate solicitors believe they are legitimate in the first place and rail against the
"Do Not Call List" as if that is supposed to protect a person. I draw the conclusion that those who blame the DNC list in one way or the other, just don't get it and it is proof that these scams do work to some degree.
The fact that so many cite the DNC list and believe that they should somehow be immune to scams is worrisome because they apparently believe that some criminal out there, looking to rob you, cares about whether or not you are on the DNC list in the first place.
DNC List a Joke 2013-09-24 22:42:38 Unknown
robo Called my cell number, which is on DNC list. The fact is the phone companies and government could stop these scams and DNC violations by simply canceling phone service to known robo call / scam caller phone numbers. They have chosen not to probably for the obvious reason that they make money providing service to these criminals. Calling those listed on the DNC is a criminal act. Seems to me anyone aiding or abetting those committing crimes are accessories to the crime. So why haven't the phone companies been charged and prosecuted yet?
Robert Nash 2013-09-24 17:20:46 Unknown
I was under the impression that being on the no call list was supposed to stop these calls.

Robo Call - about lowering my credit card rate. I too am on the Do Not Call registry - when is that going to be enforced? The law has been on the books over 5 years now. What a joke

These idiots will not stop calling 606-980-2030 Prerecorded robo call. This is your last chance about credit card, etc.
We have had all phones on do not call list for years and the calls keep coming despite other companies receiving very heavy fines. Where is our government?

So tired of continually receiving these same unwanted phone calls!
For each and every unwanted call, please report at both Federal Communications Commission (FCC) websites.

I surprised to hear a familiar voice on the other line. It was myself...from the future! I started to tell a tale of great wonderment, tales of far off places and great journeys into the unknown.
Of course I had several questions for myself, uh, like hello, lottery numbers? But my future self told me not to worry about such selfish things, that I needn't worry about shallow and unimportant things like money, that all I needed was "to lower my credit rates."
"You've got to be kidding me future self? What horrible life decisions have I made that brought me to such a lowly state." My future self replied, "It was...it...it was.....soap........poisoning."
I told you not to use Lifebuoy!

Rude people just hang up when you ask them to put you on their do not call list. Next time they get to talk to the dog:) He might listen to them...
Cahnde 2013-09-10 20:15:36 Telemarketer
This isn't the second and last call - they have called me dozens of times. I asked them once about taking me off their list and they hung up on me. I asked them the name of their company on another call, and they hung up on me. Yet another time I asked to be removed from their call list, and they hung up on me.
In my book the only thing they are providing is harrassment, rudness, disrespect and disregard of the do not call list.
Report them. Eventually they will be fined or something.
Mary 2013-09-08 20:23:36 Unknown
They have called me 15 times in the last 2 weeks. I just answer and hang up immediately so I don't have to hear the phone ring 5 times. I am on the do not call registry and will not talk to anyone I do not know. If anyone is reading this please do the same. Maybe these people will stop bothering us.

Call from 616-980-2030, Shown "TN REMOVAL LINE". I couldn't imagine a Tennessee Removal Line so didn't answer. Also am on Do Not Call list, but that seems to be meaningless.
Peaches 2013-09-05 20:41:44 Telemarketer
I'm on the do not call list and they still call. You have to push a number to get someone.
It's not a debt collector they was't to offer you a credit card.

Used to be 616-980-2063. All these sales calls must stop.

I recently applied for a position at TN Line Removal Inc., and thought they were calling me for a job interview. What a tease.

Just got a call and decided to answer. I asked to be placed on DNC list as I a should be. Representative (if u can call him that) just kept saying "No Thank You" and when asked for manager stated there is no need as he was not disrespectful. He then proceeded to tell me that there is no call list to be removed from.
Irratated right now!

You'd think that the real Bankcard Services that collects money for legitimate credit cards would do something about someone posing as "Bank Card Srvcs" in calls from 616-980-2030, repeatedly claiming, "Again, this is your final notice as it relates to the financial stimulus." If the news reports are to be believed, the National Security Agency knows about every time these people call someone. Is there nobody connecting the dots?
marvin 2013-08-31 20:06:48 Telemarketer
Just got a call and tried to answer it to let them know I am still on the DNC list. Was sent to music in background and finally hung up. Filed a complaint with the FCC for DNC list violation.
Mhanna 2013-08-30 19:20:27 Unknown
I was just called by this number, oh darn I missed the call. Glad i found your posts before I called back!

They just called me, I too have been on the DNC list for years and renew it yearly. There was a point this company was calling my work cell, my office number and my house. All of those were on the DNC. This time I answered and asked the guy what they do about calling numbers that are on the DNC which he claimed he will have me removed and abruptly hung up.
Emjay 2013-08-30 16:25:45 Unknown
Like many others above, they have called numerous times with the recorded message that this is my "last chance." I wish they were serious about that.

I pranked him with the Dr. Phil soundboard found here: http://www.realmofdarkness.net/pc/sb/drphil/3 Had the salesman talk to Dr. Phil for 8 plus minutes. He hung up when Dr. Phil told him to start living as a gay woman. Sound boards are a great revenge on telemarketers. Also very entertaining.
