Answered phone and said hello and nobody would say anything then they hung up, multiple calls for this number.

Just got a call on my cell, which I don't give out - they asked if he or she was available and I said they have the wrong number and they said,  Oh I'm sorry.  Very weird.

Got multiple calls selling mortgage insurance for Wells Fargo.  Turns out the caller works for "Americall."  Told me their address is 1901 Northwind Parkway, Hobart IN.

This number has called 3 times since Friday (4/11/08). We don't answer it and they never leave a message on our answering machine. The caller ID says it's AGI. I don't understand why they're calling when we have no association whatsoever with AGI insurance. They shouldn't even be calling at all though because we're on the National Do Not Call list. What the heck do they want?

I called this number and the machine answered. It said, "Thank you for calling Insurances Services. We recently  attempted to contact you with a special offer. If you would like to learn more about this scenic offer press 1. If your not interested in learning more about this offer press 2 now. If you would like to be placed on the National Union Fire Insurance Do Not Call list, put in your 10 digit number now".   There ya have it...

Stop calling me everyday

It's a disability insurance offer from Wells Fargo - I think they are allowed to call you unless you specifically tell them not to because they use your relationship with Wells Fargo (companies you do business with are allowed to call until you specify they are not - even if you are on a do not call list)

Anyway - you get a free $15 gas card just for reviewing the insurance info - you can keep the card even after you say no to the offer.

Got three calls from this number today and finally called the number back.  Said it was for a "unique and special" insurance offering -- press "1" to be called back, press "2" to take your number off.  I did "2" and it asked if I wanted to be taken off the Pennsylvania Fireman's Insurance list -- entered my number and confirmed to be taken off.  The message indicated it would be done in two business days -- let's hope so!

they keep calling me but never leave a message when the machine picks up...very abnoxious..here it is 9pm CST and they are calling!

Just got a call from this number too.  Caller id says AGI.  I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.  I do have an account at Wells Fargo (according to other people's posting on here they could be affiliated) and I have had a hard time with them selling or giving out my name and number in the past to other companies trying to solicite something or other.

Received a call from this number today. Did not answer. No message left. I am on the no call list.

Called me 7 times in one day.  I do not answer. Who is it?

Calls on my cell phone and home phone.  Caller ID says "AGI."  I called the number back and she said exactly, "Is this ______  _______."  I said yes, long pause, hello, hello, hello.  She repeated "Is this _____ _____."  I said yes again.  She said "I'm from Wells Fargo Bank but I'll call you at a later time."  

I think they are trying to connect a number to a name.  But to have them identify themselves as a bank - is a federal offense.  Whey is no one calling the Better Business Bureau.  This is the beginning of identify theft.

I've been getting these phone calls too. I decided to answer a few times and there is no one there.

I dont know who these people are or what they want from me,  BUT I am highly annoyed with them.  Calling me at all hours of day or night including weekends is making me angry.  Leave a message for goodness sake so I wont call you back.... WHO are these people?!?  Any why wont they leave me alone???

Called me today saying they were from US Bank and wanted to offer me a $25 gas card for being a valued customer and also send me some information on insurance.  Figured it was a scam right away because they called my parents house phone, and not my cell phone (which is listed under my US Bank account info).  Anyway she said she need to verify I was over 21 so I gave her my date of birth.  She also asked for my city of birth??  She then said I would be put on hold so I could talk to someone else to verify what we just went over.  Rather than put me on hold, she just kept me on the line and kept asking question about the weather here and told me she was calling/lived in Michigan.  After like 4 minutes of being on hold, she asked if I was busy and that they could call back.

Call frequently, never leave message, anoying.  Do not answer them.

They call me constantly, but I never answer. They leave no message, so they must not truly need to speak with me.  I am already registered with "do not call," but apparently it doesn't work well.  Thus, I am complaining. I want them to stop.

Sorry, previous message had wrong company.  It was AGI.  I did go to the website as shown above and they have a "Do Not Call" registery you can fill out and submit to them to be removed from their call list.  I did it, now we will see if they call back!!

They called at 8:58 at night , asked a name, so I hung up.

I have been getting these calls from the 616 980 2143 every 15 min to a 1/2 hour. This is not nesassary. Does any one know how to stop this. its been going on since Sunday Morning at 8 am.

AGI is contracted by companies to telemarket for them. that is why they appear as AGI (Americall Group) in the caller ID, but they are just the 3rd party company doing for the other companies.
