didnt answer it so i check on the net to find the source the area code was boston mass area im in ont canada . thought it was fishy our local news station and police are on to this fraud so dont give any info out they will empty your bank account if u do

an indian accented woman called me telling me she was from the gov. social sec office and i was a good tax paying citizen and because of that i was gonna be rewarded 500 a month for the next 6 months..i was dumb enough to fall for it after asking some questions..but once they asked for a fee on a recording after telling me there wasnt one..i hung up..they repeatedly called me back time and time again til i cussed em out...after that they called back once more

got a call this morning. said that this # (my #) had been selected a line of credit of 5g (yeah Right) declinded then I asked how they got my #. they just hung up on me

I have received at least 3 or 4 of these calls in the past 3 days.  If I don't recognize the number, I don't answer it.

I have not gotten any rude response since I do not answer the phone.

I got this call, he knew my name and ask me what was the name of my bank. I hung up. He called again and told him to stop calling, take my name off his list, and no I would not listen to him! He told me to go to hell and hung up. When asked what company he was with I could not understand his answer. He has called many times.

received call from this #6172240808 told me my medicare # had changed and they needed to give me new number, I'd  re ceive card in three or four days.  had all kinds of information about me.  Bank acct etc .  I closed my bank account and called soc. security and  medicare and it's all fraud. he called me back about 30 minutes later. I told him I closed my account, reported him to medicaare & Social security and the POLICE.  He hung up on me

I prefer not to give my real information, however my entire family have been receiving endless calls for the above-indicated number.  He is a male with an accent from "India" and states that he is representing the Social Security Administration. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION AND PLEASE REPORT THEM TO YOUR MOBILE CARRIER AND THE POLICE DEPARTMENT.

This number turned up on the display. The area code 617 is for Boston. When i checked it on the white pages, it turned out to be Suffolk County. That is, the area where the Harvard affiliated hospitals are.

called today claiming to have a social security administration gift for me for being a good tax paying citizen

some indian sounding guy wanted my banking info so he could route 500 a month over 6 months

they call me all the time and i ask to be taken off the calling list, then they hang up on me.  calling the number back just says the code i dialed is incorrect.

Have been receiving several calls daily from this number and thought that since it was 617 area code, it must be a friend of mine. I have been ill and not up to talking to anyone so didn't answer. The number kept calling so I finally answered and a man with an east indian accent said he was from the social security administration. I hung up on him, he called the following day, which was a saturday, and the one right before the new year. I answered again and it was the same man from the "social security administration". I said "The Social Security Administration is not open on Saturdays" and hung up. Didn't receive any calls for a few days, and now the calls are happening again.

i got a call from this number 617-224-0808 saying that they were going to refund my money that was taking out of my bank without permission or authization and they was direct depositioning back in my account it was a woman it would be back in my account in a couple of days

This number keeps calling me!! I am Blonde but not dumb to give out my personal banking info. He wanted to tell me that I had 600 stolen out of my account, I keep pretty good track of my accounts, so I was like "umm no I am checking my account right now and nothing is taken out." and he says Thank you and hangs up. They just called me A FEW MINUTES AGO AND I repeatdly said to stop calling me, I was kind of rude and I ended up hanging up on him.NOT EVEN 1 MINUTE LATER, He CALLS AGAIN, my husband anwsered thE PHONE AND HE WAS ASKING HIM ALOT OF QEUSTIONS, THE GUY HAD AND INDIA ACCENT AND HE TOLD MY HUSBAND HE WAS JAMES BOND AND that I was his girlfriend!! I DONT THINK SO!! Can we BLOCK THIS NUMBER SOMEHOW..? HOW DO THEY GET OUR PHONE NUMBER? ANYHOW I AM GOING TO GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS!

Received a call from this number at 11:00 AM EDT 29-December.  They hung up when we answered.    I was surprised and interested to find all these calls documented on this website.

called my number said they were with IRS hung up tried to call back number would not connect.

these people called saying they were from the Flood Recovery Department. He had an india accent and called himself Jack. I played along and he asked how much money I had lost in my flood. He would return it to me and wanted my bank. These people need to be approached by our Government and investigated for represently themselves...fraud.

Will someone please tell me how to report this number... I posted on 12-26-07 and they are STILL calling ! One time the guy asked for Steecey and I said that "I'm Steecey" (mocking him) and he hung up on ME ! I also said another time that I know that they claim to be GE, IRS, fraud recovery, ETC... he acted like he didn't know what I was talking about and just said that they would put me on the do not call list (YEAH RIGHT ).

Just got a call too and I am in the Philly area. I am reporting the number and the fraud.

Called at 12:19 cst. Said "my name is James (Indian accent. Who are you?" I asked who he is calling and he said a name that I couldn't understand after several repeats. Then told him he had the wrong number. He asked again who I was.  I asked him again who he was and he said "James, I am with the Tax Revenue Department" and I asked which tax.  He said "Tax Revenue Department of the United States". I then told him to never call here again.

i have recieved nunerous calls from "sam " in the last 3 day  but this morning
it took a sick turn he ask me if i wanted to have sex with him and if i was hme alone

received 3 calls on my cell phone never answered calls and they never left message. How can we stop these calls?

They called wanting my checking account number. Tried to call back the number to verify but the operator comes on and states this number is out of service.

This number calls me at least once a week. I never answer and they never leave a message.

I receive a call from a India accent guy, and he asked if we have ever lost money from our checking account in the last 3 years. I kept asking him, who do you respesent, just hee hawed around. I finally hung up.
