calling early in morning

They called here, too early. Hung up on them...

Called at 8:03 am looking for donations for patrolman's association.

I have received several calls from this number including one this morning at 0815 hours.  Caller ID showed MA FOP above the number.  All I get on my answering machine is a loud hum....no message.  I never pick up.  I'm also on the No Call list.

Hi All, I support our local police force. However, after getting a call early this morning on my work number which I have forward to my cell phone. When I did answer there was no one there just like others reported here.  I am glad I took the time out to look up this number and found this site. This person needs to be stopped. If this one calls again. I am going to try to get more information out of him and then I will post more. We to stop these people

When I answered there was no one on the line. Caller ID says Boston, MA; reverse number lookup says Cambridge/unlisted.  I'm in MA.

Calls come in at different time of the day, I don't care who they are collecting for I don't give over the phone to anyone. To easy for these people to scam your info.

It is probably a scam.....police themselves are not rude if they ask for donations.  These people aren't loosers and they don't make enough for all they go through and the sacrifices they make.  You obviously had a bad experience and I'm sorry for that, but it isn't necessary to call them loosers or monkeys. I don't know what you do for a living, but I'm sure they deserve to make more.  We can't pay them enough.  When you or somoene you love is being robbed, raped, harassed, mugged...etc etc. you'll be glad the officer will come to help you in spite of the rude things you have to say about them.  I pray you will find peace and be able to see all they do and that most of them are good people.

Police union thugs. Paid solicitor. Brian keeps calling,recording the call "for my own protection". Intimidation is more like it. Isn't it enough that we pay these losers absurd salaries, do we have to support their charities too? These monkeys make more than I do.

Annoying getting calls from this number early in the morning. Caller is unknown. I don't pick up any  unknown callers. I am on the no call list but lately it doesn't seem to make a difference. Thank goodness for caller ID because I certainly don't want to have to stop what I am doing and take these annoying phone calls.

I have received these calls before-Police fundraising. They used to call from an 800/888 number!

Many calls over the past several days over and over and over

Phone call.  This has been repeatedly coming in more and more.  

Fake.  Its a payphone?
