As I get a lot of magazines I thought it would be nice of me to be nice to these annoying jerks and if I get a name and address I send in for them a subscription to these magazines.  There always seems to be plenty of inserts in these magazines and I hate to see them go to waste.  I use Spokeo as my search engine.  Sometime it works.   Just type in their phone number.

there just scammers looking for someone who is really stupid to give them personal info my gosh people everyone should know by now never ever give personal info out unless say you are buying something in person or opening an account but never give personal info out when someone calls no matter what they say they can threaten all they want but they can not put you in jail or take away your house or car .

OK, I attempted to have this number traced. The only thing they could find for me was that the call was coming from a tower in Jamaica Plains, MA (I believe this is the Boston area). The company is New Cellular WRC DC and zip at the tower was 02141-2103. This idiot is calling from several different phones, adn I am really gonna be pissed if they are one of the phones that the government gives to welfare recipients. I am posting this in the hopes that someone can build on this info.

The same thing happened to me today.  I heard that if they hang up on you before you finish your sentence (to remove your number from the list), then they do not have to remove you.  I've also heard that you have to say it 3 time or something before they remove it.
The problem is that this "Card Member Services" telemarking thing is being run from a computer-- a Robocall.  Something about if they use it to call people, they are claiming it isn't a violation.  The government is trying to stop it. I go on the Do Not Call Regristry site and report the number every time I get a call like this... which is from multiple different numbers.

This is a scam

This number has been calling me daily 1-4 times a day. I have blocked the number but they keep calling as it shows up on my call history. Gargled names, but you can tell it is the same voice. One day it was "John", and the next day it was "Greg?" He tried to mumble his voice. I would love to find this j***off. I have reported this to the DNC Registry like 20 times. I can't figure out why they keep calling me when I have them blocked.

I been getting calls on my cell from 617-390-4562 for a month now and they never talk desided to add to my call list with a funky ringer so not to answer him since it  cost money to block  and money to  recieve his  calls

I got a call saying my account was closed, so I decided to speak with a customer rep. they told me that they don't work with the banks and their company name is Account Services. I requested to have my number removed because I was getting a lot of calls from them. On my caller ID it says "Wireless Caller" not a company name.

Report them to "National Do Not Call Registry", FCC, and FTC..

I get a call from these Adam Henrys on my cell phone at least once a week.
My "Smart" phone has Call Control. The app starts with a national block list that can be added to by anyone on the system. If a call from a number on the list comes in, it doesn't even ring my phone and shows only as a missed call.
Best $10 bucks (for the app) I have spent in a long time.

I just give the number the name "Junk Call" and save it in my phone directory and when call ID captures it and names it Junk Call I don't answer.  Do this to each call and ignore the JUNK CALL'when it shows up.  If they don't ever get an answer they will go out of business, and if they change numbers add it to your list as a junk call.  I now have 2 on my address book as junk calls.

The only way people can make a difference is if they band together. When the Card Services people call and you answer, hit 1 to tell them you do not want to be on their list. If you just say, "take me off their list", you'll get hung up on before you can even finish. This is what I started doing: The key here is to say "Yes", then go into your tirade. Mine goes like this: Caller: "Would you like to lower your interest rates ...? Me: "Yes, last night I F*cked your mother in the *ss and noticed you weren't there to watch." Usually they are caught off guard and then hang up. Sometimes they get really upset and say F*ck U. Then you keep hitting them back with other stuff like how their mother really seemed to enjoy the *ss pounding you gave her. The key here is the use fire to fight fire. You turn the tables and get them upset like a bill collector would do to you. My one lit match probably doesn't put a huge dent in their operation but imagine if everyone did it to them. Again, talking about past tense things that you did with their moms and not things you wish to do to them because you don't want to fall into the harrasment trap or the threat trap.

I just received a call on my cell from this # at 8:33pm CST...since I didn't recognize, I didn't answer & googled it instead to find this. No message left. I'm on DNC lust too, since beginning, which obviously means nothing as somehow every politician is exempt and calls numbers incessantly.

Best advice: add each caller to your directory, label as spam, & on a cell phone, change the ringtone to block the call, so if they ever attempt to call again, they'll think they reached a dead number.

Any professional telemarketer know's that the Do Not Call list of Ph#'s are not to be called& that there are heavy fines & numerous penalties for the telemarketer.
Obviously this person is rerouting his calls from California, to another ph # & then robocalling any & every one assuming he cant be traced. Wrong notify The Atty general office & file a consumer complaint  he can lose his Business/Phone Room.
personally I am disabled /Blind & its very difficult for me to find & answer these type of nuisance call's, that is why I  am & have been  on the Do Not call list over six years  in both WA/State & OR/STATE.

I get these types of "press 1 to speak with XYZ" almost daily now. If I answer and begin to tell the person I'm on the do not call list, they hang up on me before I even finish the sentence.

I've reported these calls 37 times now (various numbers), and nothing seems to be done about it. Next, I'm complaining to my senator instead.

This number called on my cell phone at approximately 2:30 pm on 4/25/12.  My number is listed on the Do Not Call Register.  I have had many of these calls and both of my phones are on the Do Not Call list.  I am tired of these unwanted calls!
