I received a call from this number and was not able to answer it in time. However, I did not recognize it and did a reverse look up. Stated it was a known scam number. Scrolled down further and found this sight. Guess they are at it again. Be careful. Also received a phone call about being a respondent in restraint order. Contacted police and reported phone number.

Yes, when I actually listened to this phone message I honestly laughed. A restraining order against me? I know better than that. I called to just see what they had to say and the lady I spoke to was so stupid she didn't even know the abbreviation for which state I reside, asking me dumb questions. Wanting information NO ONE should ever give out to people. Social security number, cc numbers, etc...
Watch the silly movie "Identity Thief" there are so many scams out there. I hope no one gets taken by these scumbags..

Debt Collector
I got a call from 617-830-2295 2 days ago.  The company is called Process Server Corp.  They claim that I will be served in 72 hours with papers to appear in court for some old bill, but they mentioned a company that owns my current credit card.  I called my credit card company to report this and they were very much concerned because they knew nothing about Process Server Corp.  This is definitely a scam, not only are they harassing me, they called my Mother who lives 5 states away.

I've been getting these calls along with my parents, mostly they leave a detailed message.  I call back always a recording, so I proceeded to just press buttons.  Finally a live person, he was no help and very rude.  He would provide no address, fax # information.  I filed a complaint against them with the info I had after contacting my local law enforcement (NC) letting them listen to the messages and they checked for any papers that may really exist.  I filed my complaints with Illinois Attorney General's office (who notified me, they have no record of this company and when they investigated they didn't get anywhere either) and FTC.  Regardless whether you owe these people or not (you definitely don't owe them, they bought non paid loans from companies), they business practices are unethical.  Also, check the laws in your state regarding status or limitations if you do have loans that they say are not paid.

FILE A COMPLAINT AGAINST THEM WITH THE FTC.... TAKE THE TIME AND DO IT

Hi everyone, this initial call came as you all received with the judgement of a restraining order  against you to me also. When I got a hold of the Process Server Corporation they said "Oh! I'ts a financial restraning order". They coericed, harrased and scared me into trying to settle my $600 credit card debt. When I asked for further information and a mailed paper form of the debit owed and to who. They said I didn't have that right. That they did send something but it was returned...Yeah right! Well a long story short I made up a payment agrement with them with a first inital upfront payment from my debit card. With further payments every month till debt was paid in full. After the fact I contacted the FTC, the BBB and the Attorney Generals office. They said to NEVER!!!! give your credit card information over the phone and that we do have a right, to request any information we ask for, especially if they are wanting us to full fill a debt. Also when I made that first payment they said "Don't stop payment or change your account information and make funds avaiable for further payments or you will be prosacuted that Is what stemmened me to turn them in and stop that initial first payment. Now I get a phone call saying it is from their Fraud unit out of Ohio for my repayment that they cannot get funds for. That I will get one more cahnce to repay with a phone call or court documents will be drawn up against me for fraud. I didn't call them back. I spoke to a debt collecter company that the credit card i owed first setteled with to collect my debt. They told me that that is unfair collection tactics and that they would never do that although they have heard of companies but few, doing that sort of thing. They also told me they know of no company that would even take a $600 debt to court for collection. That it wasnt even worth it to them.

Prank Call
I received an automated message and was told that an federal investigations is being conducted from a  complaint that had been filed and that I was named as a Respondent to a restraining order. In addition, I was provided a Claim # and was instructed that I or my Attorney need to contact (617) 830-2295, within the next 24-48 hrs. Upon contacting the above phone number. The message states if your bank account or property has been sezed press 1, If you received a call pressed to 2,  It was evident that this was some type of scam. because when you press 1 or 2 they both states this number can not be reached at this time... the voicemail state you have reached Process Server Corp. when googleing the number their  located out of Massachusetts....oh! but be careful their good  they can be local and have another state number this will keep anyone from tracking them. these scams are normally  Pay Advance or some type Online loan scams. people just be careful do not give them info.

The FTC and the MA AGO were a complete waster of time. I was told just ignore the calls. The best part of this whole thing is the fact that they're looking for someone I've never heard of..... #frustrating

On March 18, 2013 I got an automated call stating that the caller was the civil investigations unit contacting me about complaint being filed against me.  Claim number IOW2-3461 where I have been named as a respondent in a court action where I must appear.  There is a contact number on file which I must call.  I am to forward this information to my attorney in that the order to show cause contains a restraining order.  I or my attorney will have 24-48 hours to oppose this matter.  They then repeat the claim number.  They end the call by saying, thank you and good luck.

I borrowed the language from an above(earlier) post because the call is a total and complete scam.

I received an automated message and was told that a complaint had been filed and that I was named as a Respondent to a restraining order. In addition, I was provided a Claim UPDD-1473 and was instructed to contact (617) 830-2295. Upon contacting the above phone number, All I kept getting was a recorded message. Than I googled the phone number.

917 is the Boston Quincy area and I am nowhere near the place and chances are neither are you.

Please note that any legitimate lawsuit or notification of lawsuit will not be received via phone messages. They are required by law to send it in writing. I urge anyone receiving these type of messages to be cautious and not fall into victim of fraudulent activities. DO NOT provide any personal or financial information to anyone over the phone, period. Even if they say it is a legitimate company.

Can someone please stop these b*****ds? They are harassing my wife.  Today all 3 numbers..... My home. My cell and my wife cell all ring at the same time from this #. This is about the 5 call from them. We now know its a scam, so today we call back and went on a while goose chase with them. We lead them on to get info. To find out "" owed"" $755.36 to some bank, we ended up saying, we will see u on court. They hang up. We called back in 5 min, and this time we owe $1, 535.34. But we talk to a different this second time.We requested physical address to send the check........ Lol. They dont take checks. Only PO is available, and we can settle for less.  But the more we more we ask questions, the more they sound scared and heasitant to answer direct. Don't be scamed. They are thiefs. I received an automated message and was told that a complaint had been filed  for my hubby and that he was named as a Respondent to a restraining order. In addition, I was provided a Claim # and was instructed to contact (617) 830-2295. Upon contacting the above phone number, it was evident that this was some type of scam. This number also called my hubbys cell phone but they got the names mixed up my hubby as me and me as my hubby. While trying to figure out how they even got our number the only way is a recent application with www.autoloan.com since then I have received calls, emails and snail mail that is phishing in nature. Never had any junk calls before this application. Has anyone else had the problems resulting from contact with this company?
