I keep getting calls from this number and it hangs up before it can be answered - they never leave me messages - thank you all who posted your responses - this was very helpful to me in deciding on if I should even answer the call.

618 551-5507 comes in on caller ID as Rewards Dept. Called four times and hung up when I answered the phone. Than called again under these numbers with the same caller Id "rewards dept." : 626 544-5606, 484 589-5538. It's amazing that this is an actual business, located in different states across the country, created to steal identities and credit card information. One more way to rip off the working class. Their phony investment businesses have all gone bankrupt after they bled us with excessive credit card fees and fraudulent charges on loans, so now they have turned to more obvious scams. When will it stop?

You are correct, Becky. Anyone you don't know or have not done business with should not be given your credit card # ESPECIALLY by phone or online.

The recorded message asked me to complete a telephone survey for a FREE gift and then said the gift was FREE but I would need to pay S&H so have a credit card # ready.  Why would anyone give them a credit card #?  Beware.  618 is a S. ILL area code.
