Called and told me that they had been trying to contact me about a credit card balance, and that this was my last chance to avoid an interest rate increase. Dial 1 to speak to a representative, dial 2 to ignore this advice and sign up for a higher interest rate. Thought this was interesting, as I don't have any credit card balances, so I dialed 1 and held on. When the representative came on the line, I pointed out that I don't have any credit card balances. She said "ok, then" and hung up on me. When I called back, there was no answer. When I called back again, three minutes later, I was told that the number had been disconnected or changed.
