Got a new phone for Xmas and this number has been calling me for three weeks.  I blocked it, and made a note of SCAM.

Automated message for the weak minded or weak willed who cannot resist giving their money away.  In other words a scam!

got a call (one of 5 or 10 in the past month) from this number.  pressed one to talk to an agent, but as soon as I asked his name he hung up.   I have spoken to live humans (maybe) at "Card Member Services" before, and asked to be taken off their call list, with threat of large fine the next time they call, to no avail.   This number- 619-208-8728 - when called, says the mailbox has not been set up...goodbye.  For previous calls, the number my machine captured, when called, said it was for a cell phone whose service had been cancelled...goodbye.

This whole "Do Not Call" registry is just b.s. by the government to keep us happy.  It has no teeth, does not stop calls, and has been found to be easy to circumvent by anyone with an IQ of 6...which is several points higher than the politicians who created it.

If anyone can find out where these mothers work from, it would seem an in-person visit is in order (although they probably work from their cars as they move from state to state).

I too received a call from this number.  My game was to string them on for as long as possible.  Got them for 28 minutes! (Anyone work them over any longer?)  When he finally got frustrated and I didn't think I could keep him on the hook any longer I ended the call with, "Please call me back soon, I LOVE wasting your time!"

So far no repeat calls.

Standard BS prerecorded message about lowering my credit cart rate/debt. Even the bit about "nothing wrong with your account" as if they actually had anything to do with my account. When I told the human operator that I actually didn't have any credit cards (which they'd know if they actually were connected to the CC companies in any way) he hung up on me. Classy.

came up "wireless" as well.  Could possible to a connection!?

I received a recorded call from theses "people" (Card Member Services) and hit "1" to talk to a rep. When I did so they asked if I was responding to the rediuced interest rate? I answered "No, I am.." and was promptly hung up on. I filed a complaint with the FTC.

What is it that we all have in common, that they call us? Did we give out our number online to someone- and who is it so that we can go there and beat the living s*** out of them?
Remember telemarketers, you are just a short plane ride away!

Whoever this is, they KEEP CALLING from different numbers saying they are cardmember services. Telemarketing is so childish, and so old! Get a life.

They keep calling, I pressed one and led them on, but whenever I ask "what company is this?" I get the run around and they finally hang up on me.

Ugh. How many times can be my last chance to respond. Very annoying. Has anyone been successful in asking for a company name, etc? Missouri has a do not call list as well which they seem to be ignoring.

Same as the others.  Recorded message, spoke to friendly rep and he hung up on me.  why are they all getting away with this when we are all on the do not call reg.

I have gotten several calls from this number. In one case I told them not to call back--since it sounds like a credit card scam.  He asked if I had credit card debt.  I said yes.  Then he states--just like that he can lower the debt by over 50% by working with credit cards.  I said I do not need it as I hear most of it you can do yourself anyway.  I nearly did not have time to tell him I want to be DO NOT CALL listed there, as it is confusing to see an out of state cell phone call on our caller id.  They hung up without answering, so I do not think it worked.  They are a scam in my opinion.

I was told by the automated message that this was my last warning to respond or my account will be closed.  Funny, I haven't received any notices before or know what the hell they're talking about.  The message continued blah,blah,blah.  I hung up!

File a complaint at the Do not call registry website.  https://www.donotcall.gov/  On the left side of the page is a "File Complaint" link.  If enough people complain, maybe something will be done about this.

I wouldn't be at this website except that I'm so angry the loser at this number just hung up on me.  A legit company would have apologized and honor my request.  Scum!

I am on a Do Not Call List and keep getting calls from this number says its a wireless number. I don't answer and they hang up and leave no message.  I  even  called back the number   got a  recorder message  that this personal voice mail   has  not been  set up   wtf   they are  wasting my  time as well as  wasting their   dime

This canned call always comes at dinner time, nap time or even bedtime.  It is completely recorded so no opportunity to blow the whistle.  Can trace it however and report to Do Not Call list...altho I think none of this might help?  Totally frustrating.    My LAST CHANCE to lower interest rates on cards that we pay off monthly?  rofl

I to got this call from the same number  so i played along told them i hand $9000 debt at 18% he then asked for the 800 number so i had to give it to him (gave him local radio station number0 he then asked me for the credit card number  i told him my uncle wilbur said i cant give it over the phone  he said it was fine to give it  i asked him why does he think its safe to give it he said it was safe   ok  so i asked him for his credit card number if it was safe  yeah you guessed it  keep this a** on the phone as long as you could  total jerk i wasted his time just like he thought he was getting over

You have just called me again, I pressed 1 to speak to a representative, previously I told her to remove my number and that I am on a DO NOT CALL LIST.  I told her to quit calling me and she hung up on me.  SHE HUNG UP ON ME!!!  Will the BBB help me to stop these people?

They refuse to stop calling me.  When I question them, they hang up on me.

I received a call from a wireless phone, 619-208-8728, a recorded message to lower bank interest on credit cards, this was the last warning I was going to get.  I clicked to talk to someone, and told them to remove my number, and they hung up.

I also pressed 1 and asked to be removed from their call list. This has not stopped the calls from them. I have never had bad credit and have had this phone number for 15 years.

I, too, have had a series of these darn phone calls.  Most are different numbers each time.  I am also on the DO NOT CALL list.  When I looked up this number 619-208-8728, I started reading the posts.  WHEN I GOT TO YOURS, I HAD TO LAUGH.  I'm glad you turned the tables on them.

Another SCAM!!!!
I have received many calls from this phony outfit.  They try and get your credit card numbers  so they can lower the interest rates.  That is not the real deal.  they cannot answer any legitimate questions.  When I told them I did not want them calling anymore The girls said I would go to the top of the que and be called again.  They called four more times that day and at least once a week ever since.    

I am going to call the California State Police and file a complaint.

I got another call from this # and decided to play the dummy on the phone for a fool, after pressing 1 for one of their "friendly customer service reps".. Gave him the story of  I have $11K in credit card debt, 19% interest, he was so elated! Could not wait to help. Asked me if I had my credit card with the highest balance available, told him I did. So I said in a Hindu voice (my apologies to Hindus but I went with that accent thru the call) "my card it balances well! Look I can balance it on my finger!" "No NO Sir does that card have a lot of balance on it!". Turned up the frustration meter some: "LOOK! it balances very very well!". "SIR DO YOU HAVE A BALANCE ON THAT CARD???" "no need to yell Mr Man....oh I need to ask you something sir" He got sort of agitated and snapped "WHAT?"..."have you a straw handy?" "Yes...why?????"
"Shove it up your a**, bend over and blow into it" and I slammed the phone down.
I wonder if he tried that. I hope he did.
What is funny is this moron kept the call going.

THIS IS A SCAM!!!
I just talked to someone from this number (pressed one to ask them to quit calling) and they told me they were with the FBI working with the DEA investigating my neighbors across the street for selling drugs out of their house and want to set up surveilance out of my house.  The guy got pretty persistent with me and I told him that if they wanted to do that they could contact our local PD and come through them and I would be happy to cooperate. Got the response that "We are the FBI we don't need your local PD involved" To which I responded, "You do if you want in my house without a warrant or we would have problems, You can call them or I will."
