I want this guy to be shut down. he keeps calling me and my parents and somehow fraudulently got my bank information. I am suing him.

I just got the same call a few hours ago and was going to let it go but it started to bug me. So i sat down and wrote info down and called the # the gave me. Scott Evans at 3237862720 and the lady left a vm with info and case #. I got on the internet and started researching and found this site. I called the number and asked the name of the company and where they were located and the lady asked me if i had a case with them? I said no just wanted info on company. And now when i call the # back it goes to voicemail. I think there just running a scam wanting money????

Got a call from a document service place, telling me I had to call a Scott Evans @ 323.786.2720, made the mistake of verifying the last for digits of my SS# that she had. I asked her if this was a bill collector and she said she did not know but to call that number and they would tell me who was apparently suing me. So I looked it up on the internet and it lead me to here and a few other websites reporting this to supposedly be a place called "McNaulty and Assoc." and a SCAM!  They called me at work.  I hope verifying the last four digits os my SS# was not a BIG mistake

the number that called me is 714-584-9146 and i researched it and it doesnt exist for the place they said they are calling from, also the detailed voice messages on both my home phone and my brothers cell phone are not the party they are looking for and they lied to me on how they got my numbers. isnt this illegal for anyone to get our unlisted home numbers and cell numbers also being not the party they are looking for to leave all this detailed messages? i want answers??

they wanted me to chase after the party for them, they said i have to? this is absolutely wrong!!

i just got a detailed vm from this mcnulty and associates from 714-584-9146 and as you i got no results for that tel number except a woman in California and not any association with this mcnulty and assoc. i called them back cause it was a family members name but we don't associate with them. So the lady that answered said the person they are trying to contact had my home number listed as work or reference and i was upset for the fact i don't associate with this family member and haven't for years and i also thought about the fact they left a detailed message on my machine and felt that was personal information and i believe it is against the law to leave such a detailed private business matter? so i got upset with it all and the lady kept saying that they got my unlisted number from the docs from the person they are pursuing. so i let that one go and shrugged it off. then i get a call from my brother who is not related to this party mcnulty assoc are looking for and i believe they called it (cell) due to it's account holder is me and my last (married) name is same as person they are trying to reach.

now i am completely upset!!! so i contacted that number again to mcnulty's and i got the same lady as i did first call, she now states "im not repeating myself" , this cause i asked how did they get my brothers cell number, and again left a detailed message, now i couldn't get this lady to talk kept telling me to stop yelling at her cause she;s not the caller and will again apologize and remove our numbers to not call them again, but on top of it all she still wouldn't answer how they got 2 of my name assoc numbers and obviously the first story she gave me was a LIE!! cause the person they were looking for doesn't even really know my brother and wouldn't even have his cell number to write on a doc!! so caught in another lie!!

then she was telling me i have to contact the party for them and relay this message and i flipped out and said 'It's not my responsibility to do your job and not my problem. i don't associate with that family member and will not even try to for them cause they are liers and calling leaving detailed messages that are illegal to do so.

how can we turn them in if their info doesn't exist?? I am beyond angry now i want them arrested for all this harassment!!!

I am no lawyer, but the message, from a reasonable person, would seem like a threat of civil action. The message leavers name was "Michael"

I did a little research, no phone number associated with any business like that nor did McNulty and Associates pop up anywhere except erroneously for a legitimate firm in Tennessee (that poor firm).

I called and believe I spoke to Michael based on his voice, and pressed him to answer truthfully whether or not he was a law firm and all he said was "I mean, we're McNulty and Associates" like that was supposed to be enough to prove that we was a bonafide law firm.

Next he gave me gruff about having a 'bad attitude' and I told him that I had wasted enough time deleting voice mails on this collections issue (it wasn't even mine but a relative of mine). I told him I don't like being threatened by legal claims. Additionally, he stated that "if I got a call like that, I'd forward it on to my family member" which I plainly stated "it is not my responsibility to aid collections agencies"

I had done some more research and began quoting American Bar Association rules and he became really defensive. I pressed him and ask for his or his firm's Bar Number (which I highly suggest anyone do when they receive a legal threat) and he became evasive.

He then did some song and dance that he did not make the outgoing calls, although his voice was the exact one I had heard on the voice mail. I then asked him if he were "Michael" (the name from the voicemail) and he hesitated, but then said no, but did not give me his real name.  I pressed him again for his bar number and he avoided it again saying that 'oh gosh, I promise we will never call again', I hope so for his sake. What he did was tantamount to legal malpractice, something that is a big no-no. I asked him to spell out the company name, for which he merely quickly repeated it 3 times before I stopped him and said "YOU MUST SPELL IT FOR ME" and then ask for his name and I got "Mi....Mr. Martinez"

The Lesson is: ask for their address, bar number, name of supervising attorney, all the information a real lawyer would have, and if they cannot provide it to you, they are scammers. A real attorney would not shirk his responsibility in this regard.

My son got a call from Sandy White telling him that if your mom does not call her back within 2 hours she 1will be arrested.  She left him a case number.  I called back several times. 1st spoke with a Mr. Martinez.  When I asked him what company this was he paused and then said Martinez Assoc.   He never heard of a Sandy White.  He asked for the case number.  When I told him I was reporting this number the do not call attornies he got upset, told me next time not to have an attitude when I call and he hung up. I have reported them.  Every one must do the same to get these scammers of the street and behind bars.

These a***ole called me too and said I was going to be arrested. Stupid a** scammers.

I was given the same harrassment as "Jessica" had received from the same number and everything.

Got a message saying I had a case number and they were serving me papers. I called back yesterday and today and have only gotten a message that says the mailbox is not initialized and messages can't be left on there. Then a woman's voice comes on and says it's the offices of Cambridge (?) Assets Management and to leave a message. The next time I called, I got a male voice that said it was McNulty and Associates and to leave a message. They gave me a case number and the name of "Sandy White" to contact. I read a comment on another website where they had given a lady a case number and said they were serving her as well.
