So glad I found this thread before calling back! My message was from this number from Michael Haag or Hagg and I did report it to the real DEA.  There's a recording so you can leave as much info as you want.

I'm still tempted to return the call and tell him I'm Detective so & so from some city police office and that I'm returning his voice mail... and then I may ask if it's OK with him that I record the conversation. :-)  I was pretty freaked out initially but this could be fun...

I got a call today from Special Agent Michael Heg with San Diego Narcotics Div 28 of DEA at same phone#, even got a badge number.  Returned a call to the "must call back immediately" demand and was told I was being investigated for receiving pharmaceutical narcotics in the mail.  I said I hadn't-he said they intercepted them.  I told him to keep them as I hadn't requested any such items and he told me not to get smart-I should "play ball and cooperate or he'd send two agents with a warrant to search my house and throw me in jail".  Then he claimed this had to do with an internet purchase in 2003 and there was no statute of limitations and continued threatening me.  I told him I didn't like his tone and he hung up.  Even though I should have known better I was quite disturbed by these calls.  I reported this to the DEA.  From this thread it appears they've been using the same phone number for about six months...

OH YEAH!  Got the call Yesterday from Special Agent Ben Martinez of the DEA OCI(on-going criminal investigations)  The guy went for as to give me his Badge Number and the Case Number.  He started threatening me so I hung up on him.  He called back and stated that he couldn't believe I would hang up on a law enforcement officer and proceeded to tell me that a US MARSHALL would arrive at my home with a search warrant to search my house and arrest me.

Then, I had a friend, a REAL FEDERAL AGENT, call Ben Martinez.  Guess what? Ying Yang hung up on a REAL FEDERAL AGENT.  Impersonating a federal official or federal agent of the United States Government is a criminal offense.  EVERYONE HERE MUST REPORT THIS TO THE DEA!  DON'T LET INNOCENT PEOPLE FALL VICTIM TO THIS CRAP.

Call DEA AT 1-877-792-2873.  PROTECT YOURSELF AN PROTECT THOSE WHO ARE TARGETED VICTIMS.  I am a hard working, law-abiding, honest, God-Fearing, Tax Paying individual and these YAY-WHO's scared me to death.  That MAKES ME MAD!!!  STOP THESE PEOPLE NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They tried this on me today, 2/15/13.  Supposedly someone is on the way to arrest me.  This is the third time someone has tried this scam on me.  I was reading the posts on line as he was talking to me.  I suppose that I will problably call him back to let him know that I am very scared and will pay his fine, just to give him hope!!!

Prank Call
These duds called today.  They are probably the 40th time someone has tried this scam in the last 5 years.

I told they that I was Batman in my BatCave getting a b*** j** from  Wonder Women and to call back later.  They immediately called and I had a friend; Robin, The Boy Wonder, take the call.  He told them that he had me in handcuffs and when will they come and arrest me.  They wanted $250 in fines which is  alot cheaper than the last call of  $1800.  Then they said to "F" Off.  They called back a 3rd time and my wife, Wonder Women took the call and told them to "F" off.  They threatened to call back as many times as they which.  We'll see what happens.

Same deal here.  I received call on 01-24-13 from Special Agent "Sadanko".....advising me of on going
investigation regarding some med's I ordered over the internet.  (Legally).   Luckily, I've heard of this going
around, via the internet.

I live in Texas.   I'm sure the DEA down here would probably just show up at my home, if I had broken the
law.

ALERT - EXTORTION SCAM - ALERT

DEA Warns Public of Extortion Scam by
DEA Special Agent Impersonators

The Drug Enforcement Administration is warning the public about criminals posing as DEA special agents or other law enforcement personnel as part of an international extortion scheme.

The criminals call the victims (who in most cases previously purchased drugs over the lnternet or by telephone) and identify themselves as DEA agents or law enforcement officials from other agencies.  The impersonators inform their victims that purchasing drugs over the lnternet or by telephone is illegal, and that enforcement action will be taken against them unless they pay a fine.  In most cases, the impersonators instruct their victims to pay the "fine" via wire transfer to a designated location, usually overseas.  If victims refuse to send money, the impersonators often threaten to arrest them or search their property.  Some victims who purchased their drugs using a credit card also reported fraudulent use of their credit cards.

Impersonating a federal agent is a violation of federal law.  The public should be aware that no DEA agent will ever contact members of the public by telephone to demand money or any other form of payment.

The DEA reminds the public to use caution when purchasing controlled substance pharmaceuticals by telephone or through the Internet.  It is illegal to purchase controlled substance pharmaceuticals online or by telephone unless very stringent requirements are met.  And, all pharmacies that dispense controlled substance pharmaceuticals by means of the lnternet must be registered with DEA.  By ordering any pharmaceutical medications online or by telephone from unknown entities, members of the public risk receiving unsafe, counterfeit, and/or ineffective drugs from criminals who operate outside the law.  In addition, personal and financial information could be compromised.

Anyone receiving a telephone call from a person purporting to be a DEA special agent or other law enforcement official seeking money should refuse the demand and report the threat.

DEA SPECIAL AGENT SCAM.  Just a few days ago I received a call from someone claiming to be Robert Hill at 619-356-5800.  He said it was critical that I call him back within the hour, that my name had come up in a criminal investigation.  Failure to do so would result in a warrant for my arrest as well as a search warrant.  Funny thing is the number is actually registered to some other name in Westmorland, CA and I live in south Florida.  I received a similar DEA call back in October from Anthony Williams at 301-861-3779 but I never called back.
