Me too! He keeps saying I had bladder surgery. These people are maddening! What is the way to get them to stop? I have my number on the national do not call list, but somehow these jerks slipped through the cracks.

Have received 20+ calls in the last few days from men with Indian accents who call me by the wrong name claiming that they are from the Medical Service Department in Miami Florida. They will not divulge any other info and call from different numbers in different states at least 5 times a day.

I have been getting the same calls and respond much the same way as most everybody I've read about - or should I say used to.  Now I start screaming as loud as I can telling him to stop calling and various other things I won't put here but think you have the idea.  Kind of lets me get my frustration out.  LOL  Anyway, thanks for the info, I'll sure be using it.  And he blocks his number now, too.  Thinking about the next time he calls of turning the radio up as loud as possible and putting the phone next to it.

Also he isn't calling me about birth control he claims I had bladder surgery back in the 90's....lol or that is how it sounds. But I agree it sounds like the same man each time. There also seems to be people in the the background at least one male who seems to be talking to others on the phone.

For the months now I get calls. Sounds like the same man each time. Each time it is a different phone number.  When you call back it odds disconnected. Today I asked for a supervisor.  He acted stupid said he didn't understand me. And after I yelled I wanted his boss he hung up. The calls have come from mitten North Carolina,  Virginia, Florida,  Georgia, Massachusetts and the latest Texas.

I've been getting them for about 3 months/  I told them I knew it was a scam and I even cussed at him, but they keep calling.

I also got the same call from a man named "John" with a heavy eastern Indian accent claiming he was from a "Medical Compensation Dept.".He ask me questions, but I told him that my medical information is confidential so there's no way he would know that I had surgery.  I ask for a phone number but he hung up on me.

I also talked with "John" he said he was from the state department and I needed to confirm if I had any medical issues a long time ago and needed to be compensated.  When I asked him if I was being compensated then they should know this.  I also asked him how much we were talking about.  He said "oh, I can't tell you that unless you confirm that you had medical a long time ago".  I told him no, I am healthy and like my money in my pocket but thanks.

I'm becoming BEYOND frustrated with phone calls from a man with a deep Indian accent calling me at all hours day and night. I have told them politely to "take me off their call list." It came to the point, where I am tempted to call the police and file a harassment charge. This man will not leave me alone. I always ask to speak to a supervisor and he claims that he is. I don't know how else to go at this.  

Medical department is calling and asking me about personal information??  I tell them not to call back and they do, they use Unknow number or private number!!!

I just got a call from a man with a heavy Indian accent and said he was from something compensation company and I kept telling him I don't understand stand him! I told him to take my number off the calling list and hung up. He called right back and used my name. I again asked who he worked for and I said USA compensation? He said, yes that's it! He mention something about BC, and I asked him had he ever heard of HIPPA because it's illegal to have my Heath information and hung up! This needs to stop!

I keep getting a call from Jason with medical compensation. He keeps asking about a mesh that was used during my hysterectomy in 1982. I have told him on every phone call it was a complete hysto., no trans mesh was used, my physician is dead, and to QUIT calling this phone number!! He is still calling, even as today!! I tell him this is a DO NOT CALL number. He obviously doesn't understand plain English. I tried to do a *69 to retrieve his phone number, it is untraceable. Surprise to me. I do not want him calling this phone number ever again!

Just got a call from "Michael" with a strong accent. He asked me if I ever had pelvic surgery, ever took BCPs, antidepressants, or had hip replacement. He said the company was "US Compensation Department". I have had this call over and over. The names change and the company names change. I have asked repeatedly to be removed from the list and they just hang up. Today, Michael said he could call me a thousand times if he wanted. He said he is allowed to call every female in the country.I want this to stop!
The number says "Unavailable". I will not ever answer again if it says this. These people are rude and will not stop calling. What can we do?

I've been receiving calls from this company claiming to be a medical compensation for about 5 months now the so called representative that my husband spoke to gave him a bogus name of Paul what an Middle Eastern accent I was sick and tired of this ring of scam artist calling my phone all types of hours so I figured it would be best to let me put a man on the phone so we could get to the bottom of this so my husband playing along just to get some information out of this clown he told my husband that i been approved for $7500 but there will be a $165 processing fee which I can mail or send via Western Union then my husband proceed to ask him if my wife has been approved 4 compensation why should she have to pay anything out of pocket his excuse was that the taxes need to be covered on the money he claimed that I will receive my payment in 45 minutes of payment via western I don't mean to be so long winded ladies and gentlemen do not be taken victim it's a scam if it sounds too good to be true it is

I received a call from 1- 929 250 0864, I did not answer because I have been receiving these medical compensation calls for the last couple of months from a variety of numbers and "out of area". Same as everyone else on this site - man with thick Indian accent. The calls were about surgeries that either myself or other women in my family might have had, birth control and bladder surgery. I have been sort of nasty to these people every time I answer their call  (I cannot ignore calls for business reasons). I have told them to stop calling, remove me from their list, get a real job and stop scamming people. Only one time did I engage them in any dialogue, I asked why they are calling from CA if they are from the medical compensation board for my state (not CA), they said that their headquarters are located in Ca. I said great what is the address so I can verify the info before  answering  questions. I was told they are not allowed to give out that information and if I would just answer a few questions they could transfer me to someone who is authorized to give me their address! Really, c'mon what legit business wont give out their contact details??
Anyway today I called the number back, polite Indian man answered, but not with the name of the company. I asked and he said he was from the Dept. of Health and Human Services. He asked me about surgeries. I just said NO to their 2 questions and he said thank you and hung up...... hope that's the last of it.
There is a post on another website http://checkwhocalled.com/phone-number/1-929-250-0864  from "Steve" who said he  cooperated and eventually spoke to an "authorized" attorney who is sending a check in a "fortnight" hmmmm a word not often used by Americans.... I wonder where Steve is from?

Caller with heavy accent and difficult to understand.  Said from the "Dept of Medical Compensation".  I asked what company and he said not for a company, for the government.  He was telling me I was going to get a compensation payment for my complaint filed about my bladder surgery.  Have never had bladder surgery so told him he had the wrong person.  He then asked if I had ever taken anti-depressant medication, and told him know.  He asked if my name was (said my name), and I said yes, but that he clearly had the wrong person.  He then hung up.  Number was blocked, and he phoned my cell number.  Immediately began to look up any info on suspicious calls from this person.  Not sure what the scam is.  I don't have a number to report to the State AG's office, or I would.

I have gotten these as well, but there was no mention of birth control, perhaps because I'm a guy. They always have a strong Indian accent. The last couple times I just messed with them. Once I was at work, so I told him "Hold on a second, I'll be right back." Then I put my phone down on my desk, went back to doing my paperwork, and let him go "hello, are you there?" until he finally hung up, which took several minutes. The next time, I interrupted and asked him "So you have my pizza? When will it be here?" He tried to steer things back to his spiel about medical compensation, and I started asking him, "Does it have cheese on it?" Once again, I wasted his time until he gave up.
If enough of us annoy them and waste their time, the scammers might go out of business.

Same here. Got a call from the blocked #. Asked him to f*** off. He called me 5 more times. I didn't pick up the phone.

Call blocker is your best bet.  They are scammers/extortionists working out of India. They ignore US laws.  They certainly ignore the do not call list.

no, being on the National Do Not Call Registry does not help. I have been on the list for a while and am still on the list but this guy still keeps calling. I told him I was going to call a lawyer. Hopefully that will scare him away....but I doubt it......

The caller has a heavy accent, most likely Eastern Indian. He said from Medical Compensation Department, said I qualified and he wanted to compensate me for past surgeries I had. He wanted me to verify my surgeries, I told him "No" that is private information and if he knew I had surgeries, he should aleady have the information. He started naming them...the first two he said, I had! I said "there you go, you don't me to verify anything." I asked for his supervisor and he said "Oh my God" and hung up.First off, I don't know how they got my number. I never give it out and am on the do not call list. It's a newer number I've had only a year or so (the surgeries were over 20 years ago). Not even my family has the number! I don't use it for everyday use. I have it just in case my cell doesn't work and I have an emergency! Hmph!

I have gotten at least 20 calls from an Indian Call Center saying he is from 'Medical Compensation' and asking me personal questions. I keep telling them to remove me from their calling list - I will not give personal information over the phone. It hasnt' worked - they keep calling me, someone needs to shut them down now...

I get the medical compensation everyday. I talk, yell, curse, agree to get past the initial caller. They always tell me that I don't qualify or will put me on do not call list. Lately it's been unknown or from 635-00. I've even put them on the do not call list, yet they call everyday. How do I get them to stop calling me???

Oops, forgot to add that the number I called them on was 305-290-8186, but the number that they were calling me from was only showing 7788. It's a number I couldn't call back, but where there's a will, there's a way. Maybe more of us should call them and see how THEY like being "harassed!"

I got a call from Medical Compensation Company and when I politely told the "gentleman" that I wasn't interested, he said, "F*** you" and hung up the phone. To me, that means it's game time! So, in my usual fashion, I called several of their numbers, until I found someone to talk to/play with.  On my call back, I spoke to "James Brown" and also spoke to "Patrick Johnson." Both had thick middle eastern type accents. I first told them that I was trying to send them paperwork and "Patrick" gave me two addresses that I googled. Of course, both addresses were wrong. He then got pissed when I told him those addresses were wrong and he threatened to call the police on me for harassing him, lol.  So I tried a different approach when I called back and "Mr. Brown" answered the phone. He knew me by name, guess the caller ID showed a name, but it's not me. I told "Mr. Brown" that I had in fact had bladder sling surgery and he wanted me to FAX HIM MY MEDICAL RECORDS! I asked him what would happen after I fax the records and he said that they would contact me if I were eligible for compensation. He also said they work for several attorneys, but he could not tell me who would "review my records" and tell me if I were eligible. After it felt I had enough fun with "Mr. Brown," I told him that I had changed my mind and I was going to sue my hospital for giving out my information in the first place. "Mr. Brown" said that I reminded him of his mother and he really wanted me to get this compensation, lol. Once I hung up, I blocked all calls from that number, but I'm sure they'll use other numbers. It was just fun to call them and be accused of harassing them, lol.

Omg i get calls all the time as well. Told him. Several times to stop calling. He called me at 6 am on a sunday one time. My phone allows me to file complaints with the ftc so ive done it a few times. But the calls keep coming.

Heavy accented male, identified himself as from Medical Compensation Department Company out of Atlanta Ga, wanted to know what surgery I had long time ago.  When I asked who he was with, he replied I was entitled to medical compensation, what surgery did I have and when.  I told him if he know that I was entitled to compensation, he knew that, he got very agitated with me and just kept asking his question.

The numbers that call me numerous times a day are 480-496-7700, 561-463-8324 and 850-754-9493 I have told them to stop calling me and if they continue to call they will be fined because I"m on the do not call list. They have called me a bi*** and keep harassing me. this last time I told him I want to be transferred to an English speaking rep and he hung up.

i am soooo tires of recieveing calls from this company i am wanting to report this company and file a law suit .
