Scam company called me to. Called themselves US Financial. Some Indian guy told me things that weren't true. Then forwarded me to an American, English speaker who attempted to describe their program. When I told him I wasn't interested, he said "no problem." But now I continue to get phone call after phone call from the same company or one that calls itself American Financial. Always a different phone number that shows up.

We received several calls from this number in one day. The previous day, my 10 yr old answered, and I ended up taking the call. US Financial, a non-profit org with programs to reduce interest rates on credit cards, by making the same payments you make currently. What? I was busy with dinner, and I said I was sorry, not interested. Then 5 calls the next day! Then today, the caller id listed a different number. Same Company. (562/546-9897) I asked to speak to a manager to remove my number from their calling list. 10-12 calls in 3 days. That's harassment!
Tried looking up US Financial, non-profit - no information can be found. If this reduction on interest rate is such a great program, then why can't one find any information about it on the WWW.

Got a call from this number. Asked for Amy. I asked who it was and could not understand whom he said his organization was. I asked him to clarify his company name a 3rd time and what this was about. He told me it doesn't matter (basically none of my business) and demanded to speak to Amy. I said "no, and good day sir" and hung up.
I can't imagine Chase, Citicorp, BoA, etc. behaving this way. I think he got the wrong number to begin with but he sure didn't handle things well.

Called my home asking for me saying it was about my credit card. Family member said I wasn't home and asked to take message. Caller hung up. I only have a few credit cards and all are paid off so it wouldn't be a late payment or anything. I called the number that appeared on the caller I'd and got an out of service number message. I can only assume it's some kind of fraud attempt.
