I too have just received a call from David Jones stating the same thing.  If I don't call back then he will get his payment from my employer.  He also said to call him back or else, good luck and god bless.

Phone scam from 707-760-5712 requesting money for a company the you suppossedly got a cash advance thru. Threatening to sue and have a warrant for your arrest. Company is Anderson Law Firm or ICash wanting money. They had all my info from SS to phone # to address, CC# and all account info, family names and other private info on me.
I called the FBI, Local County and state police and Attorney General. The people were very rude and very hateful. This is a major scam. I also called my CC company and put an identy theft alert on my account. My mom called them and put me on conference and they asked her my name 5x and wanted my number. She stated u already have it so I will not give it to you.
They are rude to her also and she told them her son in law was United States Military, her husband was military and she was a cop and they hung up. Everyone this is a major scam and had me scared to death cause they knew private info on me. Be very wary of the number and these names Dean Jones, Alex Rogers, Jack Wood, Jack Jenkins and Angela Anderson.
These people are very mean and threatening and hateful and violate alot of laws. They are apparently from overseas and have very thick hard to understand accents. The number they are calling me from is out of Eureka, California. No suh company, address or email address. Got alot of info about this scam from Google, Yahoo and MSN. BBB has no info on this company or #.
Ok everyone got a call from the same person but with a different # 530-450-6012 and demanded payment on me voicemail and was not able to call back stating this number did not exist. I have also received a call from Roy Jackson at 619-492-6012 saying the same thing. When I called them back he was not there & I talked to another so to speak lawyer. He would give me very little information. He said he would read the affidavid to me but not to interrupt him while he was reading it. He started to ask me questions & when I ask him a question he said "I told you not to interrupt me, I am hanging up". This happened twice. I think maybe we need to call Calvin Sneed at news Channel 9 & let him check this out.

I live in PA and have been getting calls from this number. The calls are threatening in nature. They will not leave a company name or say what is owed, or who it is owed to.   I filed a complaint w/ FCC. From what I am reading here they are con artists? If so does anyone know what is being done to stop these people?

I came into work today and these f***ers had already called my place of employment looking for me. The guy who called was Roy Jackson. He gave the same bu***hit as in these other posts. Bu***hit about me owing money to InstaCash and that if I didn't pay him the full amount that he would "be at my doorstep on Monday with a summons." He transferred me to three different people, all who strangely sound exactly the same. They all gave me the same half-a** story. They couldn't even give me a date of the transaction. When I continued to argue and yell at the man, he hung up on me. That was a dead giveaway. I am glad that I did my research. This is most definitely a scam!!! I alerted my local PD and as soon as I did that I tried calling the scam bastards back. They didn't pick up. Their voice mailbox is apparently full. Just hang up if these c**k suckers call again.

I just received a phonecall from this # and the man with a VERY heavy indian accent could barely say his made up name of "Richard White" I almost laughed. Same as everyone above. Retain atty or else. God bless if you don't blah blah blah. I will be reporting them to Kentuckys state atty gen. Scam and they're getting dumber with every call. Wouldn't tell me his company info after I threatened him.

This people continue to call our office even after I have mentioned numerous times that the person they are looking for is no longer with the company. When I try to return the call, there's no answer and a message that the voice mail is full.

I got the same call, he threated me with a law suit.  Told him to contact my attorney told me no.  I called my attorney they called him told them he was filling a suit against me also...refused to give compnay information etc...this is a scam....they are people trying to steal money from people.  Dont give into them.  Report them to your BBB!

these ppl have been calling me for the past few days, stating that I owe money to insta cash for a payday oan that was supposedley taken out in nov/ dec '09 I told the man I have no knowledge of this I have a prepaid acct., I check the statments fron nov-dec09 no money was deposited in my account WTF this is nuts, then theswe ppl dnt speak very good english I didn't even understyand him the first few times.

I continue to get such calls as well, I contacted my attorney, they said there is not much that can be done about scam artists on his side, I wish I did owe someone then I could take them for all the harassment they are causing me.  I am going to report them to the Oregon dept. of justice, that is the first step according to my attorney.  Everyone should do this as soon as you can in every state you can so that we can get our peace of mind back.

I got a call from Roy Peterson  today at my job  saying that I need to pay Cash Net  back a payday loan I supposely got in 2009.  Don't pay these people anything they are liars I can't wait for them to get  caught . Let them know that your not afraid of them and also let them know that thaey have been reported to FCC and I also reported them to The houston police dept and the NYPD.I hope they read this message  and when you basters get got rot in hell!

Called by a Ryan on my Employers answering machine, with a message stating something i really couldn't understand but at the end it said if you don't call me back good luck and god bless.

have had a phone call today from Adam Smith and Michael Conner stating that if I didn't give my lawyer information I will be served tomorrow but they could only tell me that it was a instance cash but not the exact company so I could see if it was for real and that I needed to show up in court in the state of California.

I recieved a call from this number a few months ago and now they called me again trying  the same thing. I even called the company they said I owed money to and they told me that they had Never Loaned me any money so I called them back and told them what the Co. said and they didnt call me back again until today!!!! I hope these people gets whats coming to them and I HOPE IT PRISON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They continue to call me at work and on my cell.  They said I need to retain an attorney.  I called back this morning and told them that if they don't stop calling me I will get an  attorney and sue their a**es.  The gentleman said "okay" and hung up.  I am sure that is not the last I will hear from them.

Got a message from this person months ago, told them I reported it to the Consumer Affairs of the Federal Government.  They stopped calling.  Calls started up again last week, same type of info and always said god bless, and god help what will happen to you.  It is a scam, I never borrowed money from any such company.  Told them I was recording this message for my lawyer and the FTC.  That's when the messages stopped.  Now, I guess I will have to go through the whole thing all over again.

I just received one of those calls saying I needed to call back and give my attorney the information.  I've never traveled west of Texas, much less borrowed money in California. WFT???

I also received a message and had a phone call with the same info. Once I told them I was going to hang up and call my lawyer, and also that I knew it was illegal to contact my workplace, the woman quickly excused herself and hung up. She said she couldn't help me anymore.

I got the same acall. Syaing i was being sued on 3 criminal counts one included bank fraud. I WORK FOR THE F*****G BANK. said they needed my lawyers info to fax over paperwork. had strong indian accents. read me some sort of afivavit. after i said i had no idea what this was about they said i better retain an attorney or else. then hung up. said i had to appear in court 3 days away.

I received two calls this morning and when I answered it was air. I held the line the second time expecting is was a delay to due the auto dialer Collection Agencies and Solicitors  use. But, the weird part is as I held noone ever came to the phone, but when the call terminated itself I had a voicemail. It was the same as the first one, with all this time sensitive crap and the God Bless ending!
So, I returned that call and received a scripted Blah, blah, blah about owing InstaCash and being sue for fraud! The rep, Michael stated that I needed to appear in California on June 14, 2010. I pried from him that this illegal transaction took place in Dec. 2009 and the reason I never heard anything about this prior to today was because the only point of contact was my email address. The scary part is they mentioned my bank by name and stated I would receive some info by mail, but didnt even verify my address! I am going to call back and ask for the company I was supposed to have drawn this money from because until I read all the comments above I thought InstaCash was the company. I check my bank stantment for December and did see any unusual transactions. I will not let this go!

i too got a call today from Michelle Lewis ( you know thats not her name) wishing me god speed and all that crap...i called the NY atty generals office and gave them the phone number for these crooked a**holes!!!!!

i have recevied calls from this company too, and say i borrowed money from a payday loan company how ever i called the bank and they said nothing was ever deposited into my account keep in mind it was one of those pre-paid visa accounts that i never use.... they are threating me with a subpena being droped off at my place of employement this needs to stop.
