Got a call from this number, wasn't near my phone to answer, no message was left, but since it looks like others have had a problem with calls from this number, thought I would report it.

I received a call from that number about an hour and a half ago. I missed the call.  Thank God for Google. I just bought a car. I did get a 10 year warranty so I doubt I would have bought into their scam, but that is scary to think I might have.

I picked up this San Diego call a minute ago, on my work phone, thinking it was a friend of mine.  UGH.  Instead I hear this recording re a second / final notice on some car warranty.  I don't own a car and took their #2 to remove me from their list.  Wish I had been faster googling this and I'd be "Stopping Heather" .

I missed a call from this phone number in the a.m., my location: Texas

I saw I had a missed call and it was from this phone number.  This is the second time I have had calls from a spam number.  Thank God for Google

Just got the number 619.582.3747 calling me, didn't answer, but when I called the number it turned out to be a disconnected number (no longer in service) from the San Diego, CA area.
They don't leave a message thankfully.

Got a call this morning from 619 582-3747 which I didn't pick up so it went into "missed calls." It just showed the phone number.  I have learned not to answer unknown numbers.  If it is somebody I know, I can always call them back. I looked this number up on google and found your website and info.  Are we getting charged by our cell phone carrier for these kind of unsolicited scam calls?  Better not be!

2) Get enough information about them for your reports to the authorities

Got a call from this number on my cell phone no less.  Grrr.....  Some damned IVR system trying to get me with extended warranty service for my vehicles.  HAHA, both my vehicles are over 10 years old!  Figure the odds!

36 second call before the IVR on the other end hung up.

I got a call from them too, I found someone noted that this is a scam organization that uses various caller ID telephone numbers.  They call cell phones of various providers (ATT, T-Mobile, etc), they fraudlently do something about expired car warranties (I have no car).

Apparently they use a device to mask their real number, I have received the same call from (619) 582-3747, (702) 520-1462, and (909) 650-9120.  I have white listed my cell phone so friends only can get through.  I'm told these spammer/spammers are in Georgia and lift unsuspecting real peoples phone numbers to use as a mask for their number (according to a post I saw elsewhere on the Internet).

I suspect they get numbers by placing false focus group ads on Craigslist (real focus groups are paid ads under et cetra employment) focus group ads under gigs may be pishing.  Since Craigslist does nothing about this sort of stuff be careful about the focus group you reply to, it can get you spammed forever.  I wish the feds would crack down on this crap!

Thank you for the info. I have a go phone and it costs me 25 cents a min. to answer a scam caller. This cell phone was for me and my family only for emergency info or contact. I don't know how they got my number.

About extended warranty... I have never owned a vehicle new enough to have a warranty to begin with.
