Nicole from National Provider Compliance Corporation called about a notice sent out about 3rd quarter Medicare Changes and ICD-10 implementation (which I never got).  She "needs" a call back at 800-669-3328, ext 63.  Well, I "need" a million bucks but that probably won't happen either.

I just received a call from NPCC asking about Medicare billing. We don't do billing but outsource it. There was an immediate hang up.

At least it was a real person wanted to know if this was a doctor's office. It no longer is so they'll have to go scam someone else

It was a phone call from the National Provider Compliance Corporation. Some company that scares you into buying their crap to be "compliant."

I received a call from NPCC 619-668-8784 asking to speak with my medical billing dept. I said we don't have a medicial billing then the lady hung up.

I received a call from NPCC asking to speak with medical billing, I said we don't have a medical bill department then I was asked you don't do medical billing? I said no.

i received a very rude voice message from NPCC : This is Diana from National Provider Compliance Corporation. this message is for the person who handles the billing.she's calling regarding the notice sent to your office on Medicare changes and what we're doing to impliment ICD10. she said she EXPECTS a call back immediately 619-668-8784 ext 46.

Lady called and asked to speak with "the person in charge of Medicare billing."  Our reply "We don't bill Medicare."  Their reply, "Thank you, goodbye."

National Provider Compliance, they called up about "Medicare Billing." I asked them if they were really from Medicare or  private company, and she didn't answer and got nasty on the phone.

619-668-8784 (NPCC).  "Marissa from National provider compliance corp" called to speak with the medical biller.  She wasn't quite smart enough to stay on the line when our receptionist placed her on hold.  She called back but hung up immediately.  Fortunately I googled the number and found out that this company has scammed many MANY medical offices.  Former phone numbers they use:  800-669-3328, 619-644-2028, 800-825-4454, 800-626-2633.

1-619-668-8784 (Caller Id says: NPCC) This number called our office 4 times within a minute.  The first 2 times there was no one on the other line. Then the 3rd time i could hear a lady carring on a conversation with another person about getting her hair permed along with curse words and then the line went quiet, so i hung up.  They called right back and again no one on the other line. This is very unprofessional and a waste of my time..

when i answered she said sorry she had a wrong number and hung up

Contacted office to announce availability of Medicare coding training conference.

The message left said, "This is Ann from National Provider Compliance Corporation calling regarding the  notice sent to your office on Medicare code changes and transition from ICD9 to ICD10 required by October 1st."

Just got a call from this number on my cell phone at 4:45 AM!  The woman on the phone asked for me by my profession, first and last initial (she didn't even know my name, which I though was quite strange) and said that she had just gotten a message but that she might have a wrong number.  She refused to give me her name or say where she was calling from, then hung up.

Just got a call from this number...I didn't pick up, they didn't leave a message.  Have gotten a few calls from a number that says it is Montana that is listed on this service as a scam as well as previous similar calls from Florida numbers.  What a great 'welcome home' for me from Afghanistan.  Would love to send these jerks to the place I've just returned from and let the Taliban shove an RPG up their a**.
