Keep receiving calls from this number on all my cellphone numbers.  One time, I listened to the whole message then waited to talk to a representative.  When a real person came on the line, I told them to take me and all of my phone numbers off of their calling list.  The response that I got was amazing.  All she said was "Okay, I'll call you tomorrow."  I was flabbergasted and since then have not picked up any of their calls.

Keep calling with a pre-recorded message offering credit cards.  I think someone should get the CEO's contact info and put him on the same list.

I've been getting calls like this for a long time, and then I wised up.  I just Googled the number and when I figured out what it was, I saved the info in my phone, so that particular number couldn't trick me.

Carol- You are the first in this forum I've seen, that has put a positive spin on things.  I used to be in telemarketing, and I know that if you don't say the exact words, "Take OFF your calling list", or "Put me on your NO CALL list", the company will just enter a computer code and the computer will automatically call you back some time in the future.  I used to enter the code "5" all the time.  It meant "unavailable".

Trick:  Be polite.  If it's a telemarketer and not a scammer, they want to be treated with respect, too.  The only reason I took the job because there was no other choice and I needed to pay my bills.  I didn't like the company, and I didn't like what they were doing.  But if someone was real nasty to me over the phone - guess what I did?  Yep...I would put them on a repeat calling list - sometimes that would call them again and again every 15 minutes.  You don't want that to happen to you.  Be nice.  They're people too.

And if it's a scammer, being nice, gets them to open up and divulge more information.
Lastly, maybe this person just has no life and is lonely.  Whatever the reason, don't let another person have power over your emotions.  The only person who should have that kind of control is YOU!

Lastly - I just called the number and got a man's voice mail saying, "This voicemail has been HACKED; they are an illegal telemarketing company; do not given them your credit card number...." then a teen's (woman's) voice goes, "I read it."

I just recieved a call from this number but I didn't answer because I work at a credit union and am aware of these scammers. You would not believe how many people give them all the information they ask for. It sure causes us alot of extra work. We have to shut down accounts and open new ones. Can't stress enough to people "do not give out any information".

I have just had the same experience, the unwanted call, pressing 1 to get an operator, asking to be removed from the list, then "I can not do that, maam.", then a hang-up when I asked to speak to a supervisor.

I received a call from 619-729-5875 at 11:50 am as I was on a call with my husband.  So I looked up the number on Google and found others receiving calls from the same number.  I am on the "Do NOt Call List" also.

Just got a phone call from this number this morning and I picked up because I just got a new phone number last week and haven't given it out to anyone that I don't know personally. It was an automated voice saying things about my credit account and how I need to take action on it and to press one to speak to a representative. I don't have a credit card, but I pressed one to see if I would be transferred to someone and I'd tell them to stop calling me, but as soon as I pressed one the call was ended. I called back, even though I've been on these sites long enough to know there would be no answer, and sure enough there was a busy tone.

Before I got a new phone number I got calls from these weird numbers at least once a week.
I got a new phone number instead of keeping my old one, which would have been convenient, because I am tired of these calls. But it looks like not even changing my phone number works.

They just tried to get information out of me. Already reported the # to the FCC. The caller was vague and asked info from me then hung up. I suppose he wasn't pleased with my responses. These people can suck c*** by choice.

It's pretty obvious that you wont get them to stay on the line. As soon as they realize that you are not going to give them your credit card number they will hang up. They are not going to waste their time on someone who is not falling for their scam.

I just got a call from this number on my trac phone. I get charged for every minute I use the phone. I answered even though I didn't recognize the number because my sisters having problems with her health and I have to make sure she can get a hold of me when she needs it. The guy on the phone said something about saving money on my mortgage, I don't even own a house.

No one but my mom and my sister has the number to this phone and both know its an both know not to call it unless its an emergency. I pushed 1 to talk to someone and when he came on I asked him why he was calling me on my cell phone and that I get charged per call. He sounded shocked that I got charged per call, I told him that he was bothering me and he said "You're bothering me wa wa wa!". I told to F*** off and to not call me again and hung up.

I wish I had been listening when he said his name and his company name so I could report him, all I have is his phone number. The more I thought about it the madder I got, so I tried to call the number back and got disconnected after it rang 2 times. So I put the number into google to see what I could find out. Right there by the rude way he mocked me when I told him he was bothering me shows me that this company is offering a scam service.
