My goodness....WHERE DO YOU LIVE?
If I lived there I think I would probably have to move....VERY FAR AWAY!

Don't wish bad upon them and their family...it will always bounce back to you.
Wish that they are able to find a real job that will enable them to stop calling you! ;)

6/27 15:57 Robo call about HARP program. Wasn't home but wouldn't have answered because already on my cr*p call list, but now officially blacklisted on call blocker.
buy a call blocker 2013-05-17 18:02:37 Unknown
criminals are now added to PRO call blocker version 2.0...the best $59 you will ever spend.
1200 number blocking capacity..up to 10 area codes can be blocked...also you can block criminals with no phone numbers on their caller ID.
blockers with 50 or 60 number capacity..you will run out of numbers in a couple of months.
FCC is in bed with these criminals:
1-do not answer the calls that you do not recognize.
2-search on awesome websites such as this one,for the phone number and once you see the numbers here,
3-stop wasting your time with useless reports and complaints and buy a good blocker.

Just received a call from this number, let the answering machine pick up, something about mortgage, almost pressed 8 to opt out, but after reading all the Input from you folks glad I didn't. Had 4 calls today so far from unavailable numbers. So much for the do not call list.

Scumbags have called several times in the last week. Didn't answer and refuse to answer any of these type of calls. Why don't these losers just give up - most people never answer these type of calls. Anybody that gives out their personal information over the phone is a fool.
Advice:: People DO NOT EVEN BOTHER ANSWERING THESE TYPE OF CALLS. If you want to call them back, do so from a public telephone. Do not answer Unknown, Unavailable, Anonymous, Out Of Area or unfamiliar prefix area codes. Anyone that is conducting legitimate business should fully identify their company name and public telephone listing on your caller ID.

Left automated msg on ans machine about a "new" program called HARP for upside down homeowners. Our number is on the federal DNC list, and this same slime msg has been received many times over the past two years.
Caller ID reads La Mesa CA.

Just got a call from this number but I was on another call and did not answer. I looked at the number, after my call, and realized I had seen a 619 call before with a similar number and it was a scam. The only thing to do is alert people to sites like this. Why???????????????????????????????

Something to keep in mind about all these continuing bothersome calls for surveys, so called charities and so called charity pickups despite asking them to remove you from their list:
Call centers have sprung up in my town that make use of the survey and the charity loophole around the do not call list; they have been a headache for law enforcement, emergency services, neighboring businesses and residential areas. When I ask any patrolling officer in town about these call centers, they are quick to state their frustrations about the criminal activity that some of these call centers have brought into the area. Several law enforcement agencies regularly visit some of these call centers looking for warrant arrests etc. I have heard from sources including from frustrated employees that work for these call centers complaining about the drug activity, vandalism of cars and neighboring businesses, break-ins and theft, drinking while on the job, smoke breaks are actually marijuana breaks, drunk driving, very dangerous driving, tons of tossed out litter of empty liquor containers, trash, food etc. I?ve even heard that the mangers are also involved in criminal activities and have even preyed on their legitimate employees who are simply trying to eek out a living on horrible wages. Also the operators are untrained in a very high turn around, poorly managed and dysfunctional work environment.
Also realize this when you call a companies? customer service line and get horrible service from the call center that?s been hired by the company. One time while on a call with our bank?s customer service, the operator was so loopy that it required ending the call and calling again to try and get someone else to help, think about that when you call a companies? customer service and the conversation gets odd, off the wall and obtuse ? you may be talking to an operator that?s drunk or on something. After 6 months of getting a different and wrong answer to our ongoing problem each time we called our bank?s call center, we gave up and closed the account.
With so little police left in our town due to cutbacks, they can?t always respond to vandalism and break-ins when it?s witnessed as they have their plate full responding to the major emergencies, this allows the criminal activity free reign, the neighborhood becomes the hood. Some insurance companies require proof of private security patrols before they will honor a claim due to vandalism or theft leaving the neighboring businesses off guard and uncovered. These businesses also have the added cost to hire private security, install security systems/monitoring, upgrade lighting etc. Then there are the dangers and headaches to the nearby businesses employees such as their cars being vandalized or broken into. Some businesses simply give in, pickup and move out of town.
One of my neighbors owns a call center and he requires that his operators are bonded, but I guess there?s no laws requiring this ? there should be. Right now in my town it seems like anybody can start up a call center and hire questionable labor for cheap without much regulation.
I my efforts the past several years to try and get something done, I am most struck by the fact that there?s no real help, everyone is more worried about being sued than dealing with the obvious problem - you are on your own while the town is taken over by the crime these call centers bring into the neighborhoods....

Typical spamming telemarketing a-holes. May Karma grant these jerks and their families immediate devastating financial and health hardships as a result of their spamming and scamming ways.

I even have the No Solicitation message that says solicitors should hang up and you have to choose "1" to continue through to reach the voice mail. Even though these guys are clearly solicitors, they apparently think they should press "1" to talk to me and ignore my no solicitation message. Very irritating. I will add them to my blocked list now.
Refi 2013-03-28 19:24:24 Telemarketer
It's for the new HARP re-fi program. If you hit 8 to opt out and they call you again contact your local carrier and report the number. Per FCC/PUC regs they have to keep track of these complaints.
yef 2013-03-27 21:19:04 Unknown
All that happens when you press a button to "opt out" is that you've verified your number is a working number. Then they, and other scammers will call you even more!
I got a recorded message today at 11:28 am from these scammers. The usual crap about mortgage blah blah blah. Their autodialer is so stupid it didn't recognize that my machine picked up, so the recording was midway through when my machine started recording it. Morons.
J 2013-03-26 23:36:34 Telemarketer
A recorded message about mortgages. It says press 8 to opt out, but I did and nothing happened, just silence. I am on the Do Not Call list.
DO NOT CALL REGISTRY - WHERE ART THOU? 2013-03-26 20:01:46 Unknown
New Government mortgage program called "HARP"
Press 4 to learn more.
Press 8 to be removed from our mailing list.

Because of that 0.001% which does answer and falls for the scam makes it profitable for them
Yep 2013-03-25 23:56:02 Prank Call
And this is the reason why no one answers their phone anymore. When are these morons going to learn that people don't want to be bothered with this kind of unsolicited crap? And why not put your REAL caller ID up?
