Same number same message here. T-Mobile is my provider. I don't understand why these people can't be hunted down and prosecuted. You have their number and someone signed up for this telephone number.

Anyone who doesn't use proper English in business communications doesn't deserve a response. I just received the same text.

Unfortunately, this will not be the end of these kinds of messages as long as consumers respond to them.
The best thing we can all do is warn family and friends that if they get these messages, whether by voicemail, text message or e-mail is to ignore them. While we all seem to know that, the elderly in particular are susceptible. Watch our for your family and friends by telling them that "No bank, credit union, savings & loan, or other financial institution will ask for personal information to confirm/reactivate/register/etc. our personal information."

I just called Macys to but a hold on my account just in case... what is up with people?!? I called the 619 number and it has been disconnected due to fraudgilent activity, but then at the end there is a lady's voice saying to leave a message after the tone. I probably shouldn't have called, but I didn't use my cell to call

I got this text and so did my daughter within 30 minutes of eachother with the same message. from donna@macys.com about COOPER STATE BANK and I checked and this phone number belongs to a T-Mobil cell phone out of San Diego CA. I wish they could catch the person doing this.

I got a message "donna@macys.com / / Your COOPER STATE BANK acct was dezactivated for expire, contact us at (619)-793-5194"
Jason 2011-06-06 20:53:01 Unknown
I got the same text today. It is obviously a phishing scam and you should NEVER reply to these messages, or call the number they give you.
Tina 2011-06-06 20:53:01 Unknown
My son got this message today "From: 3791 MSG: donna@macys.com / / Your COOPER STATE BANK acct was dezactivated for expire, contact us at (619)-793-5194" My daughter got this same type of text on Aug 19 by said it was from CME Federal Credit Union 619-793-4823.
We are with T-Mobile. Called them but they can't stop these calls. Stated they are phishing. Checked Cooper State Bank website and they have warnings posted.
Emily 2011-06-06 20:53:01 Unknown

Joe 2008-08-29 08:17:21 Unknown
Received the donna@macys.com text message about Cooper State Bank. I tried to call the number just to try to tie up their lines and give them bogus info....but I get a message that says your call cannot be completed at this time. I have Sprint...so maybe Sprint has blocked this number from being called or the provider of the pre-paid cell phone was notified of what was going on and shut it down? Either way these foreign phucks need to get a life. Only a coward would try to make a living by scamming other people. I wouldn't be surprised if it was members of a terrorist group looking to fund their attacks using hardworking americans money. Makes me sick even thinking about it.
