Thanks for the info everyone! I too got a call from this number and did not answer it. No one left a voicemail and when tried to call back, I reached a message saying that was not a valid number.

That is the same exact thing that just happened to me

I have a Georgia number. It came up as a California number, I answered and there was no reply. I tried calling it back and got a message saying this was not a working number.

yep, I just got a call at 1:24 on 3/11/2013 here in washington state. I said, "Hello?" and they hung up. No biggie.

Just got a call, Answered it because I was outside and couldn't see number.  Supposedly called because I downloaded an app or filled out a survery, $100 gift card, yada yada, manufacturer overstock, yada yada.  Let her do her spiel then told her that this was my cell phone, it was illegal to make junk calls on my cell ph., she started another script about how she was calling because they were "affiliated" with something and it wasn't junk.  Anyway, told her it was a junk call, good bye.

Above posts about bad connection are correct,  Had a good connection, don't know if her claiming a bad connection is some ploy to keep you on line, or they really have crappy phone service.

received a call from 619-900-1643. I did not pick up. When I called back, it said the number was no longer in service.

I wish my cheap Android would block calls. I'm on the 'no call list' which is a joke...

They called me at 730 am. No message.

Somebody called me from this number tryed calling it back said did exist.thx everyone for letting me know its ascam

I wasn't sure what had happened, I gave me name, home, and birthday but that was all. I'm truly scared now. I'm only 17 I don't want my identity stolen

I live in VA and have a LA phone number and i received a call from this number and I answered it and said hello about 10 times and no one responded. 15 secs into the call they hung up.

Got the same call and also went along with it. And it was Nicole and Sarah too. Which did sound the same. I hung up when they wanted money too.

Just had this number call me, did not answer and happy I didn't after reading all the above statements.

Called me just now. Lady saying I would get a free $100 gift card, yadayadayada, told her this sounded like a scam and that I would be reporting this number to the police. She said she would take me off their 'do not call list' and I was called because of some good ratings.

i just got a call from nicole. the same experience happened and then they asked for my credit card number, i said no. dont give info to soneone who calls you

I picked up the call, let "her" speak, as well as let her run me through 'verification' details.  They wanted address, birthday, and a credit card number.  I stopped immediately after the credit card request.  I asked for the company ("a credited shippiing company" was the only response they would give), and a website to go to.  She continued to reiterate the credit card request.  WOULD NOT answer my questions.  When I started getting firm, told them, "Hold on a second.  I want the name of your actual company so I can look up your website."  She immediately started with interference noise and stated, "I'm sorry, my connection is breaking up, I have to call you back", then hung up.  

To anyone wondering about this number, I had a client of mine get a phone call from this number and it popped up my name on the caller id. The women said that she was calling on behalf of my name and she needed to call to claim a 100 dollars and diamond bracelet. DO NOT answer and if you find out the people who are pulling this scam. Please let me know. My law firm would be happy to take legal action against them.

This is a scam for sure.I also received the same call same way .When I asked why do you need my name they just hung up.

Same thing.  Women named Nicole calling offering to ship me a free 100 dollar gift card and 50 dollar dinning gift card with packages of samples to try and rate them.  I just need to provide the "shipping department" with my bank information so they can ship this generous gift they are willingly to give me.  Scam and I'm not an idiot.

Add me to the list. Didn't pick up, and will block in the future. Thanks to those who shared information as to what they heard when they picked up.
