I received a call from this guy who tried to buy an entertainment center from me via Craigs List, under the name Laureta King.  The "cashier's check" I received included an additional $1755 that he now expected me to send as a money order to the supposed moving company that would pick up the item.  They clearly are running several different scams.

False. I work for Meredith & Associates and he does not work for us. DO NOT TRUST

This number came up as a person looking to hire a "driver" for his mother who was to travel into my city.  All he wanted was my name, address, phone, etc.  Total BS scammer.  I wish there was a  way to track down this piece of s*** who preys on those looking for work.  I'd drive my fist right through his foreign face.

Answering for a payroll clerk for Meredith and Associates a guy named Steven Jones portraying as a recruiter offered me a job.

This is a SCAM..it is used in emails stating they have received your "reply to a post" that you have never replied to. It is a PHISHING expedition asking for your "contact information". Do NOT give it to them.
