Got a call today from this number saying they were from Microsoft and that my computer was receiving invalid downloads generating a fault on my computer and did I want them to clean it up for me. I quickly recognized this a s scam and said, "No, I have someone working on this default at this time." Didn't want them to know I can also play the game. Please, please do not respond to this number but report it; I did.

Got a call saying they were from "Loan Express" and that I was approved for a $6,000 loan. I told her she was calling me from a landline, a scam, fraudulent business name and not to call again or I would report them.

A random phone call offering you a $6,000. loan - hum! - And at what point is "Western Union" mentioned? You can be sure there is a "fee" to get this loan - the loan you will never receive. This is a Nigerian advance fee scam.

loan express - unsecured $6000 loan - even tho $6k would be great right now, i do not answer calls from people that i do not know or numbers that i do not recognize. certainly a scam. "Mark" did not sound like English was his FIRST language.

I called the number back 6199081420 and dialed extension 129 Nelson answered the phone and said he was in the personal loan business. He gave me the loan rates based on a $5,000 personal loan and advised me I could also contact them on line at www.Loan Express.com in the event I wanted to make application on line.

VM from man with heavy accent (Indian?) offering an unsecured $6000 loan, 800 number with extension to activate it. Did not call the 800 number. Am on the DNC list.

had a voice message on my cell phone this morning from this number. an eastern indian woman's voice said her name was Christine and she was from Loan Station and that I had won $6,000.00. an obvious fraud. angers me they call on my cell phone.

Live in Ohio, received the same call the rest of you did but I was surprised how quickly the guy backed off when I said no. could have been looking for an easier mark. Obviously an attempt at fraud.

Received a call from this number today, and did not answer as I did not recognize the phone number. The voicemail message went something like this" Hi, this is Veronica from Loan Office. You have been approved for a $6000 loan. If you are interested please call 800-720-6620 extension 646."
The woman's voice had a thick Indian accent - so this appears to be another scam, as I am on the DNC (Do Not Call) list and am quite certain this caller is not legitimate.
And keep in mind the source of the number is supposedly 619 area code in San Diego - the scammers are probably using software/hardware that spoofs the caller ID, so they could be calling from anywhere in the world, and may be using Skype or similar free calling tools. Maybe the FCC will figure out some way to get this type of criminal blocked from our phones. Please???

rec'd a call on my cellphone (which is on the DNC list). person left the following voicemail:
"hello this is nelson from loan express. you have been approved for an unsecured loan up to $6,000. please call 800-720-6620 extension 129"
i've never contacted this company, nor am i in need of a loan. never called them back.
