caller ID says enterprise. I don't answer. I haven't  rented a car in over a year from them, so if it is the car rental company amking a customer satisfaction survey, it is a long delay.

Caller has a British accent and calls numerous times during the day wanting to speak to one particular person (knows the name).  Says he can't leave a message as there are no outside lines or email.

Thank you, Richard. I also concur that this call was from Enterprise -- or a telemarketing service with whom they contract -- as the call I received was shortly after I'd rented a vehicle from Enterprise while my pickup was in the shop.

Happily though, I have a Google ported phone number (via Google Voice) and the Spam Filter caught it and sent it to my Spam Folder, so the call did not actually ring-through... at 8:PM, which would have really ticked me off. I've a mind to contact Enterprise Customer Service.

For those who do not have Google Voice, while it would not have caught this *one-time* call, COMODO Mobile Security has a very nice Call/SMS Block feature (under the Tools menu) for repeat offenders. You just have to enter the phone number you want to block and it will never ring-through again, unless you decide to unblock it at a later date. Mine is an Android-based phone, so if you search Google Play for "COMODO Mobile Security," you would install COMODO's "AntiVirus Free" app. I am nearly positive it is also available on other mobile phone OS's.

Received call from this number Sunday evening. No message

Received a call at 6:30pm last night. I did rent a car from Enterprise and returned it the other day so it makes sense that the caller says Enterprise. How does this pop up on my phone if I don't have the number already stored? My cell phone has caller ID with the name? They left no messages so not sure if their going to call back.

If you rented a car from Enterprise within a week or so prior to the call, it is a research company linked to Enterprise to ask about the customer service you received during the rental process and such. They are not telemarketers. My caller ID showed Enterprise, but I didn't answer because it wasn't my local office's number.

This number calls me and they use other 3 that I have recognized but they are not easy to stop. sometime the call fails before I hear who o what they want I am sure are the same scammers trying to sell pain medication

Yep makes sense it's enterprise car rental...  I just rented a car from them...  good thing I didn't answer didn't have nice things to say.

Yes, Thanks Richard.  Makes perfect sense now.  Just leased a car from National.  National and Enterprise are the same company now and they probably use the same service to collect customer satisfaction data.

They called my cell phone too.   Seems like they call cell phones a lot.   I rarely get unsolicited calls on my cell phone; I get dozens a week on my landline.

Rec'd call on my cell phone at 7:25pm.  Did not leave message.

Got a call from this number and no message. So annoying.

Enterprise - follow up survey on a rental

Received a call last night on my cell phone.  I also had an Enterprise rental car returned last week.  Gave them my cell phone number when I picked up the rental.

Received a call from this phone number on my cell phone last night; no VM was left, and I did not call the phone number back.

Received a phone call on my cell# last night about 8:45PM from this phone number; I did not answer and no VM was left.  I am just going to disregard it like any other call that I receive from an unknown area code and phone number.

Enterprise customer satisfaction

Received call on Sunday - did not leave a message.  I also believe it's Enterprise rental as well for 2 reasons 1.returned a rental call and 2.after google search number was identified as Enterprise.

I also recently rented a car from Enterpise. Called and left no VM message.

I use Enterprise occasionally and always get these anonymous calls subsequent to the rental. Probably a box that can be checked on the contract to prevent them but who actually reads it? The downside of not having a landline but on the other hand I don't answer them.
