ITS A RECORDING TELLING ME MY WARRANTY ON MY CAR HAS EXPIRED. WHEN IT GIVES ME THE OPTION OF PRESSING 9 TO REMOVE MYSELF FROM THE CALLING LIST, IT DISCONNECTS ME.
Scary, scary, scary!!!
I also got a call from this number and when I called back it said this number has been disconnected and not in service anymore. Very odd.
I RECEIVE CALLS DAILY FROM THIS NUMBER AND WOULD LIKE THEM TO STOP.

Received a call from that number yesterday, July 24th at 2.05pm EST. No voicemail though. Wonder if one could track how this guy got everybody's cell number, there are other websites where lots of people complain about calls from this number. The thought of how somebody is getting access to all these numbers by stealing or buying them is scarier than the actual call itself...
received a missed call on Thur July 24 2008 at 03:36pm they left no message.
so i called them or at least tried to at 09:34am July 25 I got a message saying that "your call can not be completed at this time...". hopefully all the info that we post does some good.
i posted this message on another site, different phone number, but likely same group of scammers:
received called from 207.674.2609 and 620.435.6608 alternatively for several months. i have an unlisted/unpublished phone number and am on a 'no call list' which means the only way anyone can obtain my number is by purchasing public records from the court house for use in scams and ID theft. the call is automated regarding an auto warranty. Fla. does not have call block anymore, therefore i have no recourse other than to continue receiving the calls and no recourse through fraudwatch (FBI) unless i'm scammed out of money or ID theft. the idiots calling me have gone as far as sending me something through the mail regarding this so-called warranty as well. for those of you in similar circumstances, you can do what i'm doing and activate a 'call trace' through your phone service which, in Fla, involves filing a police report following such a phone call, then following simple directions required by your phone company to ensure the call is traced through their system and documentation of the call is provided to you and/or the PD. unfortunately, it's the only way that FBI will pursue these people. they are literally spending hundreds of $$ to obtain personal records in order to solicit you for idenifying information for ID theft. a simple call to the local police department and a faxed report to the police department from your phone company verifying the traced call will activate an investigation and shut such scammers down. state victim crime compensation will compensate you for any expenses paid out for your time and effort in this BECAUSE a police report was initiated (it is therefore now documented as a crime). good luck
Got this call twice and the number is not in service, after using the auto prompt...they ask for my make and model of my car, I proceeded to ask what company this was...and they asked me for my name...I gave it..then they hung up.
Have been recieving about 2 to 3 a day for the last week. I never answer my cell until I look it up on http://www.anywho.com Reverse Telephone Listings. I also looked it yup on google maps and seems to be in the middle of nowhere. Denwalt, Jeremy

I have been receiving voicemails off and on for months about "my car warranty about to expire", I've just been ignoring them because I don't have an extended warranty and it's always more of a hassle to even bother to stop stuff like this anymore, nothing ever works. I don't know how he got my number, I'm not listed, I'm not even on a regular phone - I use voip. To make it even more annoying I'm overseas so my calls come in in the middle of the night usually.
I think there might be something we can do after all. check this out
http://www.ucan.org/drupal/telecommunications ... arketing_script. I'm thinking of doing this because i've already asked them 3 times to get me off their "do not call list".
I got a phone call like this too, mine was 7/24/08 around 2:02 pm. I am from upstate NY. I didn't answer it because I didn't recognize the number and no one left a voicemail for me.
well I've already had about 4 calls from the same people. I've already told them to remove me from their list 3 times. Is there any legal actions we can take against them? If so what can we do.
I received a similar call from # 620-435-6608 and I didn't answer it; they didn't leave a message either so it must have not been that important! I google'd the number and found this!! I'M GOING TO CALL MY CELL CARRIER AND HAVE THIS NUMBER BLOCKED! This is a nuisance!
I live in Las Vegas, Nevada. Also, received call from 'Jeremy Denwalt - 620-435-6608." The date was 7/23/08; time was 6:57 p.m. Even though it was a missed call, I was curious as to the name and I found this website.
ps. i'm in vallejo, ca

Received this call on 7/24/08 at 1:59 pm. Apparently this is their final notice about my expired car warranty even though I don't own a car. Definitely knew it was a scam the moment I picked up.

i tried to call it back but it was busy??

Got a phone call from that number yesterday, July 24th at 2.05pm. No message was left on my voice mail.
Had this same problem coming from a different number....same message, same jerks. Filed a complaint with the FCC but nothing has happened.
Please file complaints as well. Here is the link: http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm
I received a missed call at noon EST yesterday the 24th so who ever this person is seems to be spreading their net wide.
didnt solitice a call
I received a call from 1-620-435-6608 on July 24, 2008 - did not answer. Looks like telespam.
I posted a message about twelve hours ago right after I too had received call - which I answered and talked to a guy (with an accent) for a short time before he hung up on me after I quizzed him on what kind of vehicle I have since HE called me about MY WARRANTY. ......Anyways since then I called back a couple of times and - like everyone else here- I got a busy signal. But I tried calling the number (620-435-6608) again just now and this time I didnt get a busy signal but got the automated message - the one that goes: "Your call cannot be completed at this time..."
sick of telemarketers
just a correction. I am on the DNC in California. I was NOT on it in Texas!
sick of telemarketers
My cell company said there isn't a law against calls or texts to cell phones. However, I did see on the www.donotcall.gov site that there IS a law against unsolicited texts. I didn't notice anything about calls, maybe there is. Have you checked it out?
sick of telemarketers
I received 2 calls from this number on my cell phone each just a minute apart. I'm am fed up with telemarketers that do not heed the DNC list! Both my home phone and cell phone are listed yet I am bombarded with hang up calls at home filling my answering machine and the "missed calls" on my cell. From the research I've done on the numbers displayed, they ALL seem to be one of 3 type of calls...either car warranty expiring(my car is too old to have a warranty, and I've never had anything but what came with the car when I purchased it), stopping foreclosure on my mortgage (I RENT!), or about my credit card debt. I even get text messages to my cell which I have to pay for. I don't have a text messaging plan. I've complained to my cell phone company and they say there isn't anything that can be done. So I'm PAYING for unwanted text solicitation! Each time I get a call or a text I have been filing a complaint on www.donotcall.gov. Maybe if everyone filed a complaint each time they received these calls our wonderful (sarcasm) government will eventually do something about it. I have had MORE trouble with these type of calls since moving to California 2 years ago than I did in 26 years in Texas. And I wasn't even on the DNC in California!!!
