called and left a vm stating that they are trying to get verify my information and for me to call back.  uh...if you have my CELL PHONE NUMBER, you have all of my information.  perhaps if the messages weren't so mysterious I would call back.  after reading the previous posts, I won't be speaking with, I think her name was amber ugh!!!

Amen... But The 30.00 fee I might just pay tonight to change my number!
Professional bottom feeders!

This number has called me at home and at my job numerous times threatening to have me served at work. Their constant calls and threats are going to jeopardize my job. They call between 6 to 10 times daily. If my wife answers at home, they threaten her with trying to steal MY identity for answering their questions. Its a scam from bottom feeders. IM at the point of changing my telephone number.

I just received a call from this phone number 620-665-8721 he said his name is John Schuman left this return phone # and ext 800-286-5427 ext 1144. States  he was trying to reach this person and if I knew of a way to get in touch with them  to please call back and give them their location info. Now why would I call back a number to give out personal information. If you are trying to reach someone wouldn't you already have the information you need. I am so reporting these people.

Amazing, I got a call from this number as well and the caller identified themselves as a Law Enforcement Officer for the National Debt Collection Agency and that they had a warrant for my arrest due to past debts, fortunately for me but not for them I am a Deputy Sheriff and quickly quoted them the statue for inpersonating a Law Enforcement Officer which they again stated they were the police, again I identified myself to them and guaranteed them there was no warrant for my arrest otherwise I wouldn't have a job..LOL   Anyways the caller became very rude and told me to go f off and disconnected, talk about rude, unprofessional and not to mention illegal practices.

Tried to contact me again Friday 9/27.  Same caller ID and callback number.  LOSERS!!!

I got a call today and the guy leaves a message for me to call back with my contact info yeah ok even left n 800 number with extension ha if u have my phone number u should have the rest pathetic people

Attempting to locate someone I've never heard of... I'm gathering from this posting that it most likely is B.S.  The voicemail message gave me the number 800-286-5427 to return the call, which I will NOT be doing.

It's a fraudulant company trying to get money from people!  Report them immediately to the Local Police, FBI and FTC!!!!!

These people are calling my phone two to three times a day...leaving a message to call back reference a certain file number..I do not know who these people are and want them to stop calling. When you call back they put you on hold and no one picks up.  Turning them in to the Attorney General...will send the cease and desist letter to see if it helps.  Why should I pay to change my phone number to keep these people from harrassing me.  I do not owe them..

This number called my home and cell today. The message left was "if you have information on (my name) to call back. Really you call my cell and if they are a "debt collector" why would they not have the information on where I am at. She does not even say where she is calling from on my messages. These scanners need to be busted big time.

I got constant calls from this company asking for the person who had my cell phone number before me.  I have asked them repeatedly to take this number off their list for that person.  Then they tell me that if I hear from him to have him call.  I have told them I DO NOT KNOW THE GUY.  He simply had this cell phone number before me.  I have had this number for almost two years.  Make it stop.

I get a call from these clowns every once in a while.  Had a former employee give this number a few years ago to get a payday loan.  Since it is the only working number they have for him they keep calling.  The number isn't listed in the company name but my father's personal name (long deceased now) from when he moved the business and got new numbers in the late 1950s.  It isn't our debt so I don't care.  I ignore most calls from 800 #s, unlisted numbers and numbers outside of our operating area.  They just go to voicemail.  If it is a legit call they will leave a message.  these guys usually don't.

Just got a call at 5:43pm from 620-665-8721, and let it go to voicemail. "Amber" says she is looking for "location information for Teri." Well, that's a new tactic. She left a completely different number for me to phone, 800-286-5427, with an extension, and then she phoned AGAIN at 5:56pm! These people seem to enjoy their employment as professional harassers.

Where should we turn them over if they do not comply with the miranda? should we let them know we are recording them? are all calls monitored and recorded? can they get fined if they do not tell us we are being recorded and/or monitored?

Theses ppl call 100 times a day. Ask me about ppl I don't even kno they are sum crazy ppl how did they get ur number, whn they call I  just dnt answer the phone. How can u stop these ppl form calling ur phone , I hve change my number 3 times,already. I'm sick of those ppl

A collection agency may be understandable, however, poor communication skills and poor customer service only makes people upset. Once you lose communication than you lose money because people avoid your phone calls and avoid paying you back.

Got a call from this number TWICE already this morning and its only 1130!  The first call was silent, they said nothing and then the line went dead. I dialed *69 and their number came up.  I got another call from this number an hour later and the woman said that she was looking for my husband (she gave his full name - mispronounced - but she had his correct name).  She stated that she needed address for his current where abouts (I stated he was not here) because she needed to serve him with court documents.  I explained to her that he is a driver and his where abouts change from moment to moment, she stated that if she was not able to hear back from him in 24 hours that he would be arrested.  She NEVER once said she was calling to collect a debt, NEVER ONCE stated what documents she was wanting to serve him with either.  She advised me to have my husband call a toll free number and reference a COURT DOCKET NUMBER! My husband has PERFECT credit and has nothing against him. I got off the phone with her shaken and I called my husband, my husband said he would call the local court house and said, later, that they show nothing attached to his name.  My girlfriend did this search online and she found this site, she has urged me to share my situation.  ODD and frightening!

Recieved a call . Don't know them or have a account with them. They called my work and said that they needed me to call about medical Info. A bunch of lyers.

Im so sick of getting calls from these people....

debt collectors are losers who cant get a real job.I was ripped off and cant pay so they can call all they want.all I can do is ride out the negative credit bureaus for the next 4 years. I was 750 and above for 27 years and no one gave a damn when I was trying to work things out so I cant do anything.

I received a message from this agency tonight and wondered who they were, im glad im not the only one~Im also happy that I read your response-ACS is who Im dealing with regarding my student loans, in fact I called them today to let them know my start date for school.  What should I know about them? My loan is supposed to be in foreberance, and I feel like I always have to remind them of that!  I have been trying to work with these companies, who are constanly changing,  and asked every one of them to let me prove my income, bills, etc..they refuse-One company would not let me pay $100, yet would take my income tax check which, at best, was $200. Figure that one out! On behalf of all of us who legitamately struggle, and are not trying to get out of paying, God bless you!  And its nice to find someone who successfully gets the job done, as opposed to these companies that refuse to work with you and threaten-they get absolutely nowhere!! please tell me what I should be cautious of with ACS..Thank you~
