The email regarding Stanley Lunstom was sent to me when I had my resume on Craigslist.
He is a scam artist and I feel for all of you who have been scammed by him.
I also feel bad if there are ppl out there who took such a position as they were trying to make a living.  They are out of their money as well and could according to local authorities be facing serious charges themselves.
I have prepaid legal and asked advice on what should be done when we receive letters such as the one that was emailed to me.  I was told to safe them, don't respond and print them out just incase you need them at some point.
His letter was sent to my attorney just for the record.

By the way, a quick Google search of "Raymond Secrist" returns the following result from The Chronicle Telegram of Elyria, OH. Obviously, there could be more than one person with this name, but Secrist isn't exactly a common name, so you should definitely be concerned about replying to him.

I got the below email from Raymond Secrist, but didn't respond to it because I'm already "committed" to selling my item to another "scammer" by the name of Justin Royle; his emails are below. I'm playing his game. I gave him an alternate address and old phone number. I was informed by the bank that they will pay a reward for turning in the check along with any information (email address, etc) that I can provide. So I "agreed" to sell the item, but clearly have no intention of ever sending it to him. I'm playing his "game", yet turning the tables on him.

Justin Royle's initial email came from vissionbprospect@gmail.com. When I responded to him that I still had the item, his response came from j2royle@gmail.com

I also got a reply from Clelia Litzsinger that indicated she was interested in purchasing my item, yet provided a link for me to click. I think we all know better than clicking on a link from someone we do not know...

Sounds Good,

I am delighted to tell you that i am ready and willing to carry on with this transaction with full interest.Due to lots of scams on internet i will only be able to send your payment asap via Bank Check which should clear before we proceed with any further arrangement.
Due to the nature of my health, i wont be able to monitor this but there is always an outstanding shipper that charges low prices who will handle the shipment, and i will make sure that  your check is been isued immediately by the company's accountant ... The check  will get to you a day after the issue of the check, and when you recieve the check, you can then get the check cashed at your Bank.
The payment will be in excess so far that the rest fund will be for the shipment which has to be sent to the shipper for the pick up at your residence .i will wait for your bank to clear the Check so far that am in no rush so that the shippers can come along  with the papers and also documents that will stand for the agreement of this transaction .
All the information needed from you for the check process is as follows :
1 : Your name ( the name that will be on the check)
2 : Your contact address ( Your home address that the check will be posted to)
3 : A valid phone number ( Your phone number that can be contacted you on for any updating)
You can get the posting deleted from craiglist if you are ready to get this sold to me....

This is the 3rd and, so far, final email sent to me. I will provide an update once I receive the check and present it to the bank. By the way, if you are going to try what I am doing, DO NOT cash or deposit the check at YOUR bank. If you do, it will be returned and the funds taken BACK FROM YOUR ACCOUNT. Take it to the bank that it is drawn on.

I have gotten all your information and i have forwarded to the company's account solicitor and i promise that your check will be issued ASAP and i will get back to you with your check details when it has been posted to you.....Thanks

I spent $300 dollars on supplies... i spent so many of my precious hours going to ups stores and drop boxes and getting airway bills, gluing ups labels on envelopes and writing checks that ended up being fake. it took me so much money and time to figure out that TERRY DICK is not gonna pay me back. This is a warning to anyone who may fall for this. He even sent me lists of names and bank info and it was so beleivable untill i realized he didnt want ups tracking me down. send it to a different drop box every time? why? he says just do it. I asked questions and they were not answered. I started to get a fishy feeling and then i googled every little peice of info he gave me and found forums filled with the same things happend to me. ...i dont know if i did anything wrong and i hope to god i dont get in trouble for trying to work for this dick. If he tells you to get versa check program, paper, envelopes, magnetic ink and a printer. Ships you off to a different UPS every time...ITS A SCAM DONT FALL FOR IT

His email is terrydick89@yahoo.com
and he will use yahoo messanger
he insists on it.
if he calls you he has a strong accent and doesnt sound like his name is terry dick.
p.s. he'll call from an unknown number.

Just a heads up, I'm sure most of you know this. If someone sends you an email and will not tell you what he is emailing for, notice the use of piece, and the fact that he is satisfied with the description, but he will not mention your actual item at all, then DO NOT respond back.  If they can't tell you what they want to buy, it is a scam.

Good, I'll send a draft from my bank to cover the cost as I'm
satisfied with what I've seen so far, anyways I'll not be available
for the pick-up due to my job transfer, busy schedule and shortness of
time, but my intention is to hire a mover to pick it up. I will need
the details of whom & where to mail the draft. It will be delivered by
the United Parcel Service within 2-3 days. Please note 'ups' does not

So I'm still trying to figure out what the scam is. It sounds like he sends you a bogus check. Does he then send somebody by to pick up the item? Is he just out to steal the item, or is he after more somehow? My craigslist item is just a pair of $180 speakers. It seems like a lot of work for just $180.

I got the same message today with the same number (See message below). Yet another name, John John. Email is johnnie303030@gmail.com.

Good day,
How was your day ? I just receive the confirmation from the Bank, the check as been issued out and was mailed by the United Parcel Service  it will be delivered to your address a day from now according to the courier ,but to my greatest surprise the draft was made out for $2500 instead of the actual cost .It was claimed at the Bank that i  requested for such but am very sure i only made a request for the cost of the goods. This is a terrible mistake and i was just informed about this.

When and once the check is delivered to you please take it to you bank and have it cashed, you will deduct your money plus an extra $100 to offset the cost of you run around expenses, the rest of the fund should be sent to my pick up man via western union the same day so that he can come over for the pick asap.I would have actually love to give you a call immediately i was informed about this but am a deaf and only uses a hearing-in paired phone the relay so  please send me a email if i can  trust in you to handle this with  care or leave a message on my voice mail "443-841-8344" it will be delivered as an email  to me as well, thank you.

I am in Pittsburgh,PA.  Is there a way for one to search the entire contry for items on CRAIGSLIST?  I've looked though I've been unsuccessful.  How do these scam artists work?  Do you think they have a network nationwide?  Bottom Line...some PEOPLE SUCK!

All of this fits everything I got starting this morning on a roll top desk I am selling.

Why isn't this guy in jail? What can be done to him? This is wire fraud/check fraud/mail fraud all rolled up into one, let alone a scam artist. There should be someone who can track his email thru a trace route or IP tracking on his account.
