Received a phone call from this number. No message left.

this number does not leave a message. they keep calling and calling.

I'm getting the same call I did a little research and the # is provided by LEVEL 3 COMMUNICATIONS, LLC - AZ. It says it's a DBA for Verizon but I have never did business with Verizon they said it was in regards to robert allen. I have no idea what they are talking about must be a scam!

Got a call from this number.  Didn't recognize it; so I didn't answer, but I would like to know how they got my cell phone number to begin with

Got call from this number. No answer. They leave a voicemail where you can tell they are on the line but don't say anything. Most likely scam. Not happy they have my cell. I have Verizon. If it is related, not cool.

I receive about two call a day from (623) 208-6671. I did answer the call one time and no one on the other end of the line said a word, they just hung up.

These calls started at the beginning of February 2011 and seem to be never ending.  They have become quite annoying.  I have registered my phone number with the national "DO NOT CALL" registery, but it does not help.

Any suggestions?

UPDATE:  John Cummuta "Turning Debt into Wealth" (probably Prosper, Inc. in disguise) is calling form this number.  They try to sell you "mentoring" services and financial consultations.

The 623-208-6671 is a front number forwarding to an extension in Utah.  If you call them back - you get a "customer care" message stating "leave a number and they will call you back" - which is a hoax, as they never do!  If you press Zero you will get connected to the building receptionist.  It might help to "nag" her a bit... but I doubt it.  She has nothing to do with the problem.

The number resolves to the following street address in Provo, Utah:

5072 N. 300 West
Provo, Utah 84604

It is likely you are on a call list for a firm trying to "make you rich"... buying foreclosures, selling on the internet, etc...  they seem to ignore the "Do Not call" list completely.

There are about 20 small companies located in this building.  Here are the most significant I was able to identify:

I have also been getting phone calls from this number and no message is left.  I WILL NOT LEAVE ANY INFORMATION, NOR WILL I ANSWER A NUMBER THAT I DO NOT RECOGNIZE OR IS NOT A CONTACT IN MY PHONE.  I HAVE REPORTED THIS NUMBER TO THE FTC AND ATTORNEY GENERAL AS HARRASSMENT!!!   REMOVE MY NUMBER FROM YOUR CALL LIST AS I AM UNDER AN IDENTIFY THEFT/FRAUD PROTECTION PROGRAM AND HAVE FRAUD ALERTS ON ALL CREDIT REPORTS AND HAVE BLOCKED NUMBERS TO MY PHONE!  I GUESS THIS WILL BE THE NEXT ONE BLOCKED......
