I received an envelope with no return address and it contained a letter telling me that I had won "(2) Roundtrip Airfare Voucher's." In the greeting, I am told "Happy Birthday!!" which it is not, but is close enough to make me feel uncomfortable about my identity. I immediately figured this was a scam and decided to look up the company "Travel Awards Division". After doing some research, I have gathered valuable information which everyone should know. The people behind this try to pull a timeshare type scam in which people have reported money stolen, harassment, and many negative experiences.

This company has gone under multiple names, have changed and used many different phone numbers, locations, complete company name changes, numerous fake aliases, etc. The letter which I received was sent to me by a "Beth Jensen" from the "Travel Awards Division". The number given is 623-223-8007.

The following phone numbers have also been used by this company in the past and possibly present.

866-585-3901
866-927-6026
866-835-0959

623-748-4241

602-904-5783

480-907-3987
480-374-5758
480-374-5762

They have been reported to target the South West of the United States. Other fake names or aliases given from this company have been:

Bart Stone, Vice President
Steve Talbot, Vice President

I have even located them on the Ripoff Report website under the company name, "Vacation Network". The web address is:

http://www.ripoffreport.com/Search/Company/Vacation%20Network.aspx

I can confirm that the area codes in the phone numbers used by this company, 623, 480, and 602 are all located within Phoenix or Scottsdale Arizona.

One report has stated that their address is the following.

9449 North 90th Street
Suite 100 Scottsdale, AZ 85258

Do NOT under any circumstances attempt to contact this company unless you have the legal right to arrest everyone behind this scam and shut them down for good.

Please take the time to spread the word about this company as I have, and help shut these people down for good.

I received the same letter from a "Beth Jensen" that in celebration of my birthday, I have been selected to receive 2 roundtrip Airfare Voucher's. No return address and the letterhead they use does not even have the company name (only a logo) or company address.

Don't even have to research about it, it's definitely a scam. My shredder is hungry... I will feed this letter to it : )

Also received Scam letter from them.  Same letter.  I am very angry that they have my Birthdate and sent me a SCAM letter in honor of it! What the heck kind of Mailing Lists are Selling them that kind of info?  It should be Illegal!!! When you call their AZ ph.# and Ask for their Co. name, they say it's 'Vacation Network'.  Otherwise as stated elsewhere their envelope and letterhead are otherwise very secretive.

Phone # associated with them is the same  623-223-8007.

623-223-8007  'Vacation Network'  Forgot to say that the envelope that it comes in, almost looks to be hand printed, but it's not.  And the Postmark is from 'Augusta, GA'.  Also it has a 44 cent stamp on it, so it wasn't bulk-mailed, but made to look more 'personalized'.

Thanks for all the posts.  I also received this hand written (yes, mine was written by hand) name and addressed envelope with no return address, or any other identifying marks.  Mine was also "signed" by Beth Jensen, with Travel Awards Division under the name and hahaha, 4 digit confirmation #  to make it look official.

Of course this HAD to be a scam, but it's good to get that confirmed.  I'm sure these are type of people who would rob your house if you were actually foolish enough to accept the free vacation award, since they would know EXACTLY when you would be travelling and where you would be.

Mike W., did you have any luck getting the USPS to investigate this matter, as I would also like to do same.
