I called the number back and it is a recorded message about Kansas corruption. THen it tells you if you want to be on a do not call list to leave your number. then it says if you want to be ON their call list to leave your number.

They just called me about Paul Morrison. I've never lived in Kansas. I'm on the no call list in Missouri.
I haven't bid on anything on ebay so I don't think the 2 are related.

These people have been harassing me for over a year and I can't get the Arizona Attorney General or the phone company to do anything  about it.  Can anyone find out the name and phone number of the owner of this company so that we can can him constantly day and night and make his life a living hell?  He should be in jail for the rest of his life, in a single cell, with a phone that constantly rings and never ever stops.  Just the thought of him suffering brings me joy.  He keeps calling and leaving vulgar messages about a dead body.  I wish it was his.  This guy shouldn't be allowed  to be in society.

Jimmy in Topeka, I can't believe you fell for that spam call.  They are a bunch of crooks.  I can't get them to stop calling my phone and I've never had anything to do with them except to try to get off their automated list.  First of all if they were legitimate, the name would show on caller ID and second you'd be able to call them back on the number calling in.  People should never respond to unsolicited calls.

I received a call from 623-238-6135 and they used up some of my Sprint Wireless minutes on an incoming call that I neither wanted nor needed.  Had I been here to receive the call I would have terminatred before it used up my extra minutres with their useless tape recorded message.  What a bad joke.

note area code 623 is pheonix Arizona. just google the area code first 3 digits and it will tell ya.

this happen less than 5 min. after I bidded on something.

Received a call at 1:22 pm Saturday, August 23, per my caller ID. I'm on the state and national no-call lists, so this call probably is illegal. My Callmenot.com device handled the call; I don't pick up unless callers ring through ... so I don't have to listen to pre-recorded messages

This time called about "lame duck Phill Kline."

Despicable people with their despicable phone calls. Some guy with a grudge against the former KS attorney general, Paul Morrison. How can they get away with this? This isn't "political", it's harassment against us and against Paul Morrison who is a private citizen. I don't care what the guy's grudge is, just leave me alone and leave me out of it. This is not a political call!!!

Who are these people?  I'm so sick of them.  I work from home and the last few days I've had to resort to taking the phone off the hook. How do I get them to stop harassing me?  If you call the number, it just disconnects.  I've contacted the Arizona Attorney General, my local police department, the phone company, and the FTC.  The FTC was the only helpful response I got and they are looking into it.  But in the meantime, the calls keep coming.

These people have absolutely no regard for others.

Call from Arizona to Kansas on Monday, 7-20-08 @ 18:47 hours CDT. Caller ID advised Fair Trials, probably the Fair Trials In America. Not answered, and left a political message like they usually do.  

They must have a bank of phone numbers, as I have about 4 of them blocked. As soon as the auto dialer detects this, they go to a different number.

Taking care of 90 year old parents.........receiving calls like this is extremely frustrating and disrupting of the day.
It is a shame that people like this cannot be stopped.   Do they not realize they are not helping whatever cause they are working...........I would vote for whoever they are against just for the heck of it.

As listed above, I filed a complaint with the State of Kansas...everyone
should file a complaint.

I just got one of those recorded calls, very unsettling, loud, talks so fast about something political then spits out Fairtrialsinamerica.org, I'm on the No Call list, how these people get away with these types of calls isn't right. (looked up reverse# search--says Verizon Wireless in Phoenix, AZ)This has gone on for the past year or so, anyone know if there's some sort of block for these calls?

Go to Paul Morrison's Attorney General website:

Click on "File a Consumer Complaint".
Click on #3:  "No-Call Complaint Form".  Download form, fill out
with info about these calls, then send in.  Keep doing it as long as you get the calls.

Although, OTOH, you might not want to risk getting on the AG's s*** list.  :-/

Oh crap, and I went and emailed her my phone number NOT to call because she said further down that if we didn't want their calls, to let them know.

That "no-call" business is a waste of time. Our sales calls actually increased after I signed us up.

And what did she mean "Paul Revere upset people but we're glad he did"? This compares to the Kansas AG candidate? I'm in Kansas and have gotten that call so many times that he lost my vote...and he had it before. It's a real put-down to get a recorded message from anyone wanting my vote. Either come to my door or just let me read the flip a coin like always.
