I have called this number back TWICE to be removed from their calling list. I've had it with this kind of telephone spam. If they call again I'm turning them into the phone company for harrassment.
Tom 2011-06-06 20:53:06 Unknown
I feel this is most likely a scam. First they told me that it was the second call I had recieved, and then they told me it would be the final call, but then proceeded to ask me whether or not I wanted to recieve a follow up call. Beware.

Automated call to my cell -re:auto warranty. When I called I got an automated attendant for a home mortgage company. Left message to remove me from their call list. We'll see if it makes things better of worse...

Thanks for the info!!!
They just called my cell. automated message saying something about this is my 2nd warning about some warranty for my "vehicle" and if i dont respond then i will no longer be covered by the warranty and can no longer drive my "vehicle". i had the option to press 1 to talk to someone and 2 to stop recieving calls. This was obviously some sort of scam or phishing attempt because i dont have any "vehicles" in my name and i never signed up for any "warranty". This is the first sort of call ive recieved on this phone, and i hope its the last.

Dustin 2011-06-06 20:53:06 Unknown
My brother-in-law just got a call as well. The strange thing is my wife got a call about 5 minutes later. They don't have the same phone number or registered address. And they have new phone numbers. What are the odds? Anyways, my wife talked to a customer service person and asked if this was a scam and they go really defensive.

I'm kinda scared now. My car is at a shop right now (today) and a claims adjuster was scheduled to go look at the car because I am trying to get a approval for some work from a third party warranty company. I hope this is not related. THe warranty is not through pacific warranty or whatever its called. Hmmmm. Got the call on my cell 3/13/08 at 3:34 PST

NB 2011-06-06 20:53:06 Unknown
They called me and I didn't answer. The didn't leave a message. I saw these comments about them and thought I should say something as well.
Denise 2011-06-06 20:53:06 Unknown
The calls will never end. They use a call center who takes all the rap, because legally, Pacific guard Warranty is not calling you. It's the call centers they hire. They have a do not Call data Base they use on the computer, but it rolls over every 3 months or so. Sometimes, you may not get calls at all from call centers, then suddenly they will all begin to come in again. it circulates. The telemarketers will be as pleasant as they can to make you feel like they really care and will remove you from the list, but really they dont. You are just one sucker they lost to buy their scam warranty. Do not buy their warranty! They are scam artists. I saw some interesting reports at this website. keyword in Pacific Guard warranty there and see what people are saying. Pretty scary. www.ripoffreport.com

SCAM!!! SCAM!!! BEWARE!!!!First I asked them how did they get my number.... They said they got it from the Dealership... I said I got my truck back in 2000 and my cell number have changed 5 times since then. They said that they would give me an extended warranty on a 2000 Suburban with 130,000 miles. They said they would warranty it for another 150,000. to equal 280,000 miles. They would tow up to 100 miles if it breaks down and give you a rental car for 5 days or until your car gets fixed. i pay insurance on my car and they wil only pay up to 25 miles in towing... They make it sound real!!! They said they had to pass me up to a different tier to get me approve since I had over 100,000 miles. This is the biggest scam. They have a FAKE website. They said if you pay in full right now they will take $400 off.... or make a payment plan start off with $212.00 and $42.00 a month for 5 years. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. SCAM!!! SCAM!!!!

BEWARE: Pacific Guard Warranty, Concord California. Auto Warranty Phone Scam !!!!
READ BELOW: former employee "Spills the Beans" !!!
"Pacific Guard Warranty (Calif.-based Scam Artists selling Auto Warranties)
phone # 888-282-4524
Read Below: Actual report from a previous employee of theirs who "spilled the beans" on the company:
Pacific Guard Warranty 888-282-3524
25 Crescent Dr. Ste A538
Pleasant Hill, CA 94523
"That's only their mailing address. Their real address is 2975 treat blvd ste A4 concord, California. If you google about them. THEY ARE SCAMMERS! I used to work for them. None of those numbers you all have are legit. They use a out of state call center. They frequently change their own office numbers. Go to ripoffreport.com and read more. just keyword pacific guard warranty. They are survived by warrentech. in other words they contract out with warrentech to promote their crappy fake product. if you need more details. post away, i'll be happy to help. I know all the names and numbers of all their contact info and how to rip into them. They will need to pay me good to shut my a** up. good luck. I left their company by the way for the simple reason i refused to scam people."
They even have the gall to "sponsor" one of the owner's kids Little League teams. Got the kids working for them too it looks like !!!!!
Also, some ex-employees are starting to spread the work on the internet as to the owners' first and last names and even the CARS they drive and WHERE they LIVE !!!!! Keep on "Googling" the company name and you'll come across some websites that really get into the details of this company's owners and "KEY EMPLOYEES".
Reports Are: They hire ex-cons (two working there now) and lots of "ex-thugs" types.
The owners keep moving on, after they "trash" the company name/reputation, they close it and start back up with another name and start right back with the scams. THEY HAVE BEEN CITED IN THE PAST and EVEN PAID FINES, but it HAS NOT STOPPED THEM. IF you're close by in the SF Bay area, go pay them a visit (with your bodyguard !).
